Surfing Experience at Kata Beach Phuket by SSS Phuket
- Have a first-hand experience of riding a wave with one of our professional surf instructors at Kata Beach
- You will stand-up on and ride a wave on your very first surfing lesson
- 1 hour and 30 minutes included instruction surfing lesson to get surfing fundamentals and start to surf at the magical Kata Beach
What to expect
Before going into water, your instructor will proceed to a briefing to explain you the basis of surfing. You will determine which foot will support the most your balance once on your board (right or left – we speak about goofy or regular surfer). After that, you will practice to stand-up on the sand
The goal is to make you feel confident with the equipment. You will be able to picture the size of your board and find balance before practicing into the sea. Once in the water, the instructor will help you finding your balance on the board. During the lesson, the instructor will explain you how to position yourself on the board
At first, you will be pushed into small waves and immediately enjoy your first waves. Progressively you will accumulate technics and try to catch your own waves
