Long Bar at Raffles Hotel

We had a fantastic time at the iconic Long Bar in Raffles! The Singapore Slings were so so good and the bag of peanuts is huge too! The bar is beautifully decorated and the service was fantastic, definitely recommend a visit here!

Second visit! Brought a friend for afternoon tea. Besides ordering the signature Singapore Slinger, we spontaneously ordered a Half Yard long beer. We ate all the peanuts, chatted until we were sleepy, and scrolled on our phones until they died. The Long Bar doesn't rush you. First come, first served (we arrived in the afternoon, around 2-4 pm, both times). It's nice and cool inside the bar, and the electric fans are so cute. It's really nice to chill here in the afternoon for a drink!

Second visit! After lunch, in addition to ordering the signature Singapore Sling, I spontaneously added a Half Yard long beer. It was so comfortable and pleasant to eat peanuts to your heart's content~ The Long Bar doesn't rush people, first come, first served (both times we arrived in the afternoon, around 2-4pm, and there was no waiting in line at all)! The bar is a great summer retreat, so cool~

Showing the voucher when I was seated made everything clear right away! I was also satisfied with the amount of peanuts, there were more than I expected 🥜. If you're going to drink an authentic Singapore Sling, I definitely recommend the Raffles Hotel bar! (By the way, I arrived around 6 PM and got in smoothly, but there was a huge line when I left, so it might be better to go earlier!)

Long Bar at Raffles Hotel is a fantastic spot—elegant yet relaxed, with beautifully crafted cocktails and warm, attentive service. The atmosphere feels timeless and refined, making it perfect for both a quiet Singapore sling drink and a special evening out. Just be mindful that the drinks menu is pricey but it’s expected as you’re at an iconic hotel.

A rare experience to enjoy the atmosphere of the Singapore Sling's birthplace. The cocktails are delicious, and the floor is covered in peanut shells, making for a memorable and amusingly unique bar.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Wish we were able to longer buy had to leave early due to prior engagements.

Honestly, I felt that over ¥6,000 for one cocktail was expensive. (Visited on April 16, 2026. On that day, 1 SGD = ¥125.) Even with a coupon, it still came out to just under ¥6,000. Nevertheless, the experience at such a prestigious hotel was a truly valuable moment. I recommend going early, as a line forms even on weekdays starting at 11:00 AM.
