Additional fees for other pick-up/drop-off locations (please pay the driver on-site) Pick-up/drop-off locations are limited to Yilan city area. Additional fees will be charged for locations outside the city area. An extra fee will be charged for each trip (e.g., pick-up in Yilan city area and drop-off in Su’ao will incur an additional NT$1200; if both pick-up and drop-off locations are in Su’ao, an additional NT$2400 will be charged).
Explanation of additional fees for non-chartered service areas in Yilan:
- NT800: Wujie, Zhuangwei, Jiaoxi
- NT1200: Datong, Su'ao, Nanao, Dong'ao
- NT1500: Yuanshan, Toucheng, Dongshan, Sanxing
- NT3500: Taipingshan Park, Qilan, and other remote areas
- If both pick-up and drop-off locations are in non-service areas, an additional fee will be charged for each trip.
- 4-6 hour chartered cars cannot cross county lines. 8-10 hour chartered cars can cross one county line, with an additional NT$1500 per trip.
Other pick-up/drop-off locations in Taipei and New Taipei:
- For 10-hour car rentals, travelers can pick up/drop off in Taipei city area / New Taipei city area. Additional fees will be charged for locations outside the city area. All additional fees must be paid to the driver in cash.
- Explanation of additional fees for non-service areas:
- NT$300: Beitou, Tianmu, Yangmingshan Front Mountain (e.g., The Top Restaurant, Caoshan Night View Restaurant), Xizhi, Shenkeng, Xindian, Songshan Airport pick-up
- NT$500: Tamsui, Yingge, Linkou, Sanxia, Shiding, Shulin, Keelung Port
- NT$800: Yangmingshan Back Mountain (e.g., Tienlai Resort & Spa), Jinshan, Wulai, Yehliu, Shifen, Jiufen, Jinguashi
- If both pick-up and drop-off locations are in non-service areas, an additional fee will be charged for each trip. (e.g., pick-up in Taipei and drop-off in Tamsui will incur an additional NT$500; if both pick-up and drop-off locations are in Tamsui, an additional NT$1,000 will be charged)

Child Seat Rental Fee Taiwan legal regulations: Children under 4 years old are required to use an infant bed or safety seat; it is recommended that children aged 4 and above and under 120 cm in height use a car booster seat; please provide the child’s date of birth, height, and weight when booking. An infant seat costs NT$200/day. A 9-seater car can accommodate a maximum of two child seats, and a 5-seater car can accommodate one.

- According to Taiwan law, all children aged 0-4 must be secured in an approved child safety seat according to their size and age. It is recommended to reserve child seats in advance if you are traveling with children

Important Notes and Purchase Information
Reservations and Changes: If you need to postpone, please notify us 7 days before the experience date. The postponement period cannot exceed 20 days. You cannot change the original vehicle model, number of vehicles, or number of shared passengers. Postponements will not be accepted within 6 days of the experience date. Any additional charges incurred due to weekdays, holidays, consecutive holidays, or peak travel seasons must be borne by the traveler. Itinerary and Services: This service provides a chartered driver for pick-up and drop-off, meals, and sightseeing consultation, but no tour guide service. Although the itinerary is planned, the driver will make appropriate adjustments after discussing with the passengers based on the traffic and weather conditions on the day. For a five-seater car, the maximum number of passengers is 4; for a nine-seater car, the maximum is 8. Reference car models are TOYOTA Altis / VW T5/T6; specific car colors and models cannot be designated. Pick-up and Communication: Please depart on time at the scheduled appointment to avoid affecting the itinerary. Delays due to personal reasons will be calculated from the original scheduled time. Service personnel will contact you one day before departure; please ensure your internet connection is smooth and check for messages. Passengers must provide at least one contact method. If pick-up cannot be completed due to inability to establish contact, this cannot be used as a reason to request cancellation. If a scenic spot is canceled due to force majeure, please contact customer service for a partial refund. In case of temporary traffic control, you may need to pay for a shuttle bus transfer at your own expense. Riding Regulations: Eating, smoking, applying sunscreen, taking off shoes, kicking the driver’s seat back, spitting out the window, and littering are prohibited inside the car. If any items in the car are damaged or soiled, compensation must be paid at the original price and settled in cash on site. Bringing any pets is strictly prohibited; otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel the trip without refund. If a wheelchair is needed, please fill in the dimensions in the order remarks column; no additional fees are required.

😊First of all, thank you so much for meeting Sunny🙌🏻 Because Typhoon Fung-Wong caused the temporary closure of Taiping Mountain, Sunny immediately adjusted the itinerary. We chose to cook hot spring food at Qingshui Geothermal Park, Make scallion bread & buy souvenirs at Chumi Family Farm, Admire the larch trees & Anong Creek at Tianxin Bridge in Sanxing Township, Visit Meihua Lake in Dongshan Township for sightseeing, Along the way, he also took us to the Shiqiu Tiemalang Trail Observation Deck (Dafu Observation Deck) to view Guishan Island from afar, and we were able to touch the fine black sand & watch the waves on the Yilan coast. Driver got into contact with us 2 days earlier. It’s a private tour so driver will bring you to wherever you want to go. Take note some places will have extra charge if out of the region. We took 10 hours and requested driver to bring us to Chia Te to buy pineapple tarts since we have some extra time left. Go harvest some green onions and make scallion cakes! Pls also go take robo poly car! really nice and scenic!!
Our private car driver was so nice! He recommended many must-visit local restaurants and beverage shops. Even my boyfriend's parents were very satisfied and requested him specifically for the second day's private car service. Unfortunately, he had other bookings the next day. The driver recommended a must-visit shop for locals in Yilan called Beimen Mung Bean Milk King, and their mung bean milkshake was incredibly delicious.
The four of us will land around 11 AM, and after retrieving our luggage and clearing customs, we will go to the passenger terminal to exchange for bus tickets. The staff was very friendly and explained the boarding time and location in detail.
Mr. Qiu Mingxiang is a very considerate tour guide. He accompanied us throughout our 10-hour day trip to Yilan, always with a bright smile 😊 and detailed explanations, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing and pleasant journey. We rediscovered a new side of Yilan!

This time, we chartered a car back to Taipei, so we visited fewer attractions, but it was still a lot of fun. I bought a ton of souvenirs! We went to the National Center for Traditional Arts, Plum Blossom Lake, and Jiaoxi Old Street. The return trip was luckily only delayed by about 1.5 to 2 hours because of traffic in the Hsuehshan Tunnel. The driver was great at providing suggestions.
The driver arrived 20 minutes early and contacted us, then drove us well according to our schedule. They even took photos for us along the way. We had booked a dolphin tour, but when we arrived, the local operator said there was no record of our reservation. The driver communicated effectively with the staff, helping us switch to an earlier time slot so we could still go. Although they were a bit older, they treated us very comfortably and drove very calmly and skillfully. There was a restaurant we wanted to try, and they even called to make a reservation for us. Despite the language barrier, they did their best using an app, which allowed my husband and me to create wonderful memories in Iran. Thank you!^^
Our driver was hands-down the best driver we had in Taiwan. She was so kind to my son and kept giving him little gifts. She drove us where we wanted for DIYs (Shulan Restaurant (capybaras, etc), green onion farm, boba museum, and crayon museum). She had water and ponchos ready for us if needed, which no other driver did. I was surprised she even accomponied us inside some of the DIYs to make sure we were ok, and helped us get more feed for the animals. We did go overtime, but I happily gave her extra $ because she was so kind. All the activities were fun especially for kids, but personally, I'd find somewhere else to eat other than the Sloth Restaurant due to the expense and time it took for ok food. There was also a bit of a misunderstanding on the extra cost for the distance (not sure if we could have contacted the company before signing up on Klook), but we were notified the day before and able to settle the issue. I appreciate the service and compromise. 5 stars! We had fun!
