What to expect
This is a 5-mile round-trip tour of the spectacular Black Canyon on the Colorado River. When you arrive at Willow Beach, get ready for an amazing adventure! Your guide will get you prepared for this amazing day ahead in your kayaks. Then start paddling upstream all the way to the historical Gauging Station 2 1/2 miles into the Black Canyon. You will have a chance to see all the desert wildlife: Big Horn Sheep, Coyotes, Bald Eagle, and Golden Eagle. Your first stop will be a one-mile upstream at a historical overlook that will give you awe-inspiring views of the legendary Colorado River. Your guide will explain the interesting history of what the river was used for 100 years ago and the facts of the Hoover Dam. Finally, enjoy the beautiful green waters of Emerald Cave!

One of the best things to do in Las Vegas… in my opinion. I’m active and love to spend time in nature so this trip combined the two. Highly recommend it, even if the cave itself is tiny and a little underwhelming. The photos come out exceptionally well though. Overall definitely a beautiful trip to do.

I had my kayaking tour with Juston and it was definitely a 10/10 tour! Juston was very entertaining, informative and frequently checked on everyone in the group during the tour. Overall tour was well done. No need to worry too much about fitness level for this because it's very much a "go at your own pace" and enjoy the scenery type of tour. I would recommend taking single kayaks rather than a double if travelling in pairs or in a group so that everyone can get good photos individually and together!
Aaron was our tour guide and he was wonderful! Very friendly and accommodated the needs of all his guests, including taking individual pictures of us.
Allen was super welcoming and very accommodating. We had a great time kayaking.
I was able to leave at a time that was comfortable and satisfying for me.
Good to know
- Please not that if you bring any electronics with yourself during the tour, it is highly recommend to bring a waterproof case
- Transportation vehicles and all equipment are regularly sanitized
- Guides are required to regularly wash their hands
