Krabi Nice Sea Snorkeling Tour to Yawasam & Talu Island

Our guide (didn't catch his name, nice and friendly guy) was a lil late to pick us up. Pick up was from the hotel lobby. We went to the pier on a tuk tuk and immediately boarded the longtail boat. Went to our snorkeling site near Ko Poda and then to another site near the chicken island. Weather was gloomy, hence was not able to see deep. Marine life was limited to some smaller fishes and small corals. Waves were a lil rough when it started drizzling. Beached on Ko Poda for box lunch. Guide promised to help with photo but wasn't around when he was needed. It started raining hard after lunch and the trip had to be cancelled. Other parts of the trip like snorkeling through a cave cannot be done during rainy seasons (Aug-Dec, this probably need to be highlighted to avoid disappointment). Photos from the guides's goPro took 1 week to be shared which was a lil long. Overall, not too value for money due to these circumstance but gave a 4 🌟 as it was not totally their fault.

A different type of experience, snorkeling at two beautiful spots in the open water away from the crowds and one beach side stop. The guide is very friendly and experience.

Snorkeling in the middle of the endless sea was so great. Freediving was also so thrilling. If I had one more day in Krabi, I would have gone again. The lunch I had in the middle of the sea was also enjoyable and delicious. It was a thrilling and enjoyable memory. Going into the cave was thrilling and scary. I definitely recommend you try it at least once.

The weather was very good, so we basically had 2 snorkeling sessions and 1 hour of fun on the beach. However, the instructor said that the sea water was low, so we changed the beach fun to 1 more snorkeling session. The instructor was very enthusiastic to take us snorkeling and saw many memo fish. The whole process was very enjoyable!

The snorkeling visibility was pretty good. We only went to 2 snorkeling spots and one beach, and we already felt super tired. We ate Pad Thai box lunches, one for each of us, on the beach. We really liked this way of eating; it's hygienic and convenient, and you don't have to crowd around. There weren't many tourists at the locations we visited. If I remember correctly, the most people we encountered at any one location was only 2 other groups of tourists, and even then, the times were slightly staggered. I highly recommend this for people who like small group tours.

We traveled by long tail boat to some islands relatively close to Krabi and did snorkeling at some places. Unfortunately, visibility was poor at all the points (5-6m at the best places), which was a bit disappointing. Meals were Thai food lunch boxes, so don't expect too much.
