Reviews
The itinerary is very convenient and cost-effective, the tour guide is very careful and detailed, and the whole journey feels relaxed and enjoyable
In the morning, I gathered in front of the David Citadel Hotel in the city center, but several groups and several companies gathered at the same place on the same day, which turned into a little chaos. The itinerary was good after departure. The guide on the day was a Jew born in New York, so the English was easy to understand and the explanations of the attractions were detailed. Although everyone should be interested in this itinerary because of the Dead Sea, but after you go, you feel that Masada is amazing. It is recommended that you go to YouTube to see the introduction of the Masada fortress and how the Roman Empire surrounded the 6 battalions It took 2 months to capture the story of this fortress, and it will feel even more so. Ein Gedi said that it is okay for Oasis, and it is quite physical to take the entire trail. In addition, this itinerary does not include the entrance fees for Masada and Ein Gedi. The on-board guide will charge you to buy tickets, and only accepts Israeli currency, US dollars or Euros, and there is no renewal. But I will also tell you that if you have no change or want to swipe your card, you can also buy your own tickets to the attractions. The most time reserved for the entire itinerary is the Dead Sea, which is generally reserved for 1.5 hours. On the day of the trip, because the team members were very cooperative, the result was 2 hours to play in the Dead Sea, which was not bad. In addition, there are many groups at each attraction. Sometimes the color of the car and even the license plate number are very similar. At the first point of the day, members of the group got on the wrong car. Be careful.
It was a great tour with tour guide Aviad who well prepared for the trip and he provided us lots of information in fluent English and very interesting ways. I believe everyone on the same trip enjoyed the day very much.
There are many people at the starting point, so you should take the initiative to find a tour guide. The itinerary is tight and the guide instructions are clear. The Dead Sea has enough time to play.
We didn’t manage to go to Ein Gedi or Masada because the roads were flooded. Instead the guides brought us to Qumran and another monastery. It was a bad situation but we could see the guide was trying their best. We also had a lot of extra time at the Dead Sea, which was good if you like swimming.
This was a great trip and the guide Allan did a great job introducing the areas. And Dead Sea was not cold at all, even in Jan.
Nice trip to the dead sea, nice and good view with good people
It was a good tour and the guide came with us along the way through the entire trip. Masada was amazing and the guide gave good introduction to the history of the site and the stories. Generally would have been nice for a bit more time at the Dead Sea and our group was really big it was around 50 people so it did take time to handle logistics.
It can make easier to stay Masada and Dead Sea than stay yourself by public transport
The place was beautiful but the entire transportation and organization experience was TERRIBLE. We arrived at the pickup point 30 minutes earlier but could not find our responsible agency for more than an hour, as Klook is just a booking platform rather than the organizing agency. There were so many groups gathering at the same place for the same tour organized by different agencies, so you need to know the name of your LOCAL TRAVEL AGENCY, which Klook does not provide anywhere on their confirmation obviously. You need to show the confirmation with the agency's name to each tour guide before they are willing to check their name list for you. The most answers I heard from the tour guides when I showed them my Klook confirmation that day was "I don't know Klook. It is not a travel agency. Please tell me the name of local agency." I tried to call Klook but nobody answered the phone, and I don't understand why Klook does not simply provide any agency information at least in the confirmation. Luckily we managed to get on a bus, where the guide said "he could check with the company to confirm later" after asking different people ceaselessly for over an hour. So if you are going to attend this tour, please make sure you are informed of the NAME OF LOCAL AGENCY beforehand.
Thank you for choosing Klook and taking time to leave us with a review. Kindly be reminded that there would be detailed terms and conditions for each activity. Please note that the local operator's name and contact details are provided at the bottom of the Klook voucher provided to you once booking is already confirmed. We appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation. Thank you!
