Afternoon Tea Experience in a Royal Palace
First, we will have a leisurely stroll around Kensington Gardens and learn about the part Hyde Park played in London’s development. We will see the beautiful gardens Prince Albert created for his wife Queen Victoria and take in the spectacular views as we approach the Palace where Prince Harry and William grew up while also discovering the statue of their late mother, Princess Diana, which stands in the mesmerising sunken garden.
We will then experience the full splendour of High Tea in the 18th Century Tea Room created by Queen Anne whilst giving you fascinating insights into our Royal family and the intriguing history behind our national drink as well as the ceremony of afternoon tea.
What to expect
Having an Afternoon Tea during your trip in London is an absolute must: enjoy typical English tea in a Royal Palace accompanied with sandwiches, fresh-baked cakes, unsurpassable scones & cream.
Our two walking tours are
- Kensington Gardens. See the Italian Garden, Peter Pan Statue & Round Pond
- Start Point is Queenway Station
- 3 Palaces (St James, Buckingham Palace) including little known back streets & history. We then take a London Bus to Kensington Palace.
- Start Point is Green Park
With both options you see Princess Diana's statue & the Sunken Garden.
You will then experience the full splendour of High Tea in a 300 year old tea room where our guide will give you insights into the royal family and the fascinating history of our national drink & the ceremony of afternoon tea.
