What to expect
Immerse yourself in new cultural and religious experiences with this one day excursion to Indein, a small village located west of Inle Lake known for two stunning pagoda complexes. The tour starts off with a pick up at your hotel, followed by a scenic and relaxing boat ride through Inle Lake. Feel the cool breeze blow past you as you explore the village with your English-speaking tour guide and meet the villagers. Visit the Nyaung Ohak Pagodas, a complex located near the dock, and marvel at how the plans and trees have taken over and the detailed sculptures of celestial beings and mythological animals inside. Take a quick lunch break, at your own expense, before you visit the Shwe Inn Thein Pagodas on top of a hill. See the Inn Thein Buddha in the center, a golden Buddha image in the meditation mudra, then head out for some souvenir shopping on the walkway outside! End the tour with a stop at Ywa Ma Village, the largest village in the lake and filled with beautiful teak houses, before you get dropped off at your hotel in the city.

Yinting Village is a former mystery. The stupa in the village has not been repaired, but it has another charm. There are many vendors along the road. Please prepare silver bullets before entering the village. There are many handicrafts and there are no outsiders. The guide is really super good! ! ! The English pronunciation is good and the attitude is very good. We will inform us of the whole itinerary before departure, and we will inform you of the changes as soon as possible. Our Indein Excursion guide, Nai Nai, was super friendly, patient and attentive to our questions and needs :) He is very passionate about the history and culture of Inle Lake and its floating villages and people. He went beyond the call of duty to contact our subsequent tour operator for us to confirm some details. We really enjoyed exploring Inle Lake all thanks to Nai Nai!
Lin was very prompt in replying emails. We arrived slightly earlier and the guide brought us to have breakfast before walking to the jetty to take the boat ride! Would highly recommend as the guide is very knowledgeable :)
