Our tour guide, Richard Koh, provided an interesting and educational tour to us. He has lived in the kampung and is knowlegeable about flora and birds. He has lots of photos to show us while guiding the tour. High recommended tour. Thumbs up.
Our guide, Richard Koh is very knowledgeble of the fauna and flora found in our tropics. Had a great afternoon (fortunate for the good weather) knowing a bit more of nature in Singapore, especially the trek through Chek Jawa wetland. A great getaway.

Thank you for sharing your tour experience in Pulau Ubin and Chek Jawa with us. We are sorry to hear that it was not up to you and your parents' expectations and understand your disappointment. Upon checking with the local operator, below is their explanation. According to the tour guide, your father had ambulatory issues and in addition to himself not completing the initial Chek Jawa Wetlands leg of the tour, he (and your mother) expressed disinterest in certain other destinations/attractions listed in the itinerary. The tour ran according to the itinerary, as usual, so we're unable to compensate financially for a reduced itinerary as you chose to forego destinations/attractions by themselves. On the issue of pricing which your feedback seems to be alluding to, the tours are priced with several factors in play not least among which in this instance are (1) a minimum of 2 participants for the tour to run, and, (2) paying for the Pulau Ubin ferry to launch even when it is not filled to full capacity. We operate in a competitive environment and whilst our prices are set to compete, we are also mindful of the issue of sustainability. We will not comment on the pricing of any industry peer (that you alluded to in your conversation with one of our staff) except to say that tours can and do differ in numerous ways - both quantitatively and qualitatively. We regret that you feel the way you do and if there are other issues unrelated to pricing, please reach out to us and we will certainly look into them. Your kind understanding is highly appreciated.
Richard is a friendly and helpful guide. He is knowledge about the ecosystem, marine life as well as the different types of trees in Pulau Ubin. We have an enjoyable and memorable experience, walking along the coastal and mangrove trails.
Guide is very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He tailored his sharing to our family needs to suit my 7 year old boy.
