Lucerne with Mt. Titlis Day Tour with Transport

Just had the most amazing day trip from Lucerne to Mount Titlis! ❄️⛰️ The views were absolutely breathtaking. Huge thanks to our incredible guide Yancey for making it so special — knowledgeable, fun, and went above and beyond! Perfect mix of city charm and Alpine adventure. Easy checkin with clear instructions to the bus terminal, however bus was abit cramped since we got a double-deck bus (ceiling was low so a few kept hitting their heads). Itinerary was good, with a short stopover in Lucerne (a good option if u just want to catch a glimpse of the Chapel Bridge or the city centre), & they provide a guidebook for the facilities on top of Mount Titlis. After the guide brought us to the cable car station, it was more or less free & easy on our own, since she will accompany those that booked the skiing activities. Ice cave was slippery, so might be a good idea to bring crampons.

The itinerary includes a stop at Lucerne for an hour, where you can get down and explore the town which is really beautiful. The tour guide recommended shops where we could buy chocolates and bread. Then we headed to Mount Titlis, and the cable car ticket is part of the tour package. Although it is summer, the temperature up the mountain is very cold, so travellers are adviced to bring thick layers of jackets or get to buy them at a discounted price at the bottom of the mountain. When I went, the mountain was undergoing renovation so we were unable to have the full view, but it was still a good experience. There is a restaurant at the top of the mountain where you can have lunch.

A magical trip close to Zurich! I still can’t believe we’ve reached 3000m high on top of Mount Titlis! The side trip to Lucerne is also a fun trip before going to the mountain. Just make sure you wear the right shoes as it might get soaked in the snow while walking on the glacier. The view from the sky bridge is fantastic! The bus is not that packed. Just enough for those joining the trip. If you have kids, you can bring a stroller. We wished we brought ours. It can be accessible up to the 5th level of the building on top of the mountain then just leave it on the side if you wish to walk on the snow. Just like Disneyland 😃

Tour started with a visit to Lucerne for 1.45hrs and proceeded to Mt Titlis. Well timed tour, highly recommend it to take the tour woth Best of Switzerland tours AG . Good guide, and bus captain. Only feedback, since the bus goes through some scenic routes, request if the bus window panes are kept clean for clean views and photos.

Highly recommend everyone to book with Best of Switzerland tour . Such amazing and joy on Christmas trip. The tour guide Renate superb friendly and lovely. The way she handle the trip and all guest punctuality to follow the instructions. Big applause to our driver for bringing us smooth during tour. Visiting Lucerne and the chapel church. Mt, Titlis is must when come to Switzerland. The view is worth it. What a lovely Christmas day.

It’s very fun and is a wonderful experience! We get to see a snapshot of Lucern before heading to mount Titlis. I see lots of tourists failed to clad enough winter clothes, some ridiculously came in dresses and normal stockings which is totally underdressed. Do be mindful with the wind blowing, even a normal down feather winter clothes will not be sufficient, wind breaker is required as well. Otherwise, you will not be able to enjoy any activities on Titlis. Midway down the mountain, there is this place that you can row the boat free but at your own risk. The tour guides have ensured the group arrives and leaves on the dot. Appreciate it a lot!

Staff: Able to give background of the places to visit, explains what needs to be done in the tour, fluent in English and most importantly, very courteous to the customers. Bus: Clean and comfortable travel but no on-board toilet and eating/drinking not allowed. It also gets hot sometimes during travel, best to bring portable fan. Ok to travel with stroller for kids. Lucerne Tour: A bit rushed (only 1 hour), but enough to see the lake and chapel bridge Mt. Titlis: All the activities are included with the tour, the best of them was the Ice Flyer. Rotair is too crowded. Be sure to bring shoes for snow and jacket. Restaurants have good food and souvenir shop had plenty of items to choose from. Also, try to buy water from the tour staff since water is very expensive in the restaurants. Tip: Bring pentel pen so you can write your names in Mt. Titlis tunnel walls

my fav trip so far! you guys will be travelling with local agent 'Best of Switzerland Tour' most of them are friendly. pls be punctual!! i mean it. this package include everything. from the cable car - rotair - cliff walk - glacier cave - ice flyer - snow park. you guys gonna love it!! you will stop for Lucerne (1 hour) before departing to Titlis. nothing much can do.

Best guided tour experience. Well organized tour. Thanks to the tour guides Angela & Roberto who were kind and accomdating. Luzern & Mt. Titlis was breathtaking experience.
