Nice place to visit to find out about culture of imperial chinese. Recommended to join guided tour, as many intricacies in the building and practices were explained. A bit off the usual track, good to drop by after visiting the Earthquake musuem.
1. This ticket does not include a tour guide. You can go to the official website to book free tour time sessions. However, in fact, only those who have registered can participate (because there will be no roll call confirmation). It is more interesting to listen to the tour guide, otherwise you will not be able to take photos. The photo shoot will be over soon. 2. Could it be due to lack of manpower? The park is open almost every half hour (10 minutes each time). When it closes, please come back to the entrance in the next half hour. 3. Wufeng Lin Family has many outstanding people. The local exhibition area is divided into 4 areas due to different property rights. Tickets need to be purchased separately. However, the largest one is probably Gongbaodi. Parking is not easy nearby. You have to look for it and then walk to the park. .
I absolutely love this place as I feel like I'm in a scene of a sword fighting/martial arts ancient chinese drama shows. What was left behind after the earthquake in 1999 was restored for visitors to admire, and it is truly amazing. Worth going.
a place with rich history and stunning architecture. if you already know about taiwan's history, i feel that this adds on to that and gives you an even better idea/image.
Good place to visit together with 921 Earthquake musuem if there is time. Only a few bus stops away by bus service 50. Guided tour was good, otherwise would have missed out a lot of details and delicate details in building structure info.
Online ordering is very convenient, and combined with platform promotions, it's more affordable than buying tickets on-site. After purchasing, you'll need to go to the ticket booth to exchange for your tickets and get a hand stamp. If there are guided tours available, we highly recommend joining one; the explanations will help you understand the many hidden meanings within the architectural installations. It's definitely worth spending half a day visiting. On the afternoon of our visit, the venue was booked for a private event and not open to the public. We suggest checking the official website for opening hours before you go to avoid a wasted trip!
Coming to the Lin Family Mansion in Wufeng, Taichung, it feels like traveling through time and feeling the rich ancient atmosphere. There are scheduled guided tours on holidays. The tour guides' explanations are detailed and vivid. The one-hour tour not only allows people to understand the historical background, but also to appreciate the architectural aesthetics and cultural connotations of the Lin Family Mansion. The overall experience is great, the environment is well preserved, and it is suitable for friends who like history and culture or want to wander quietly. It is highly recommended to arrange a trip to Wufeng Lin Family during the holidays!
It’s worth it and I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit. Pair it with a commentator if possible, and it will definitely impress you. The history, culture, background, and architectural integrity it represents are all very high. Maybe the younger generation may just visit and take photos. As a middle-aged and middle-aged person, I had a lot of feelings and came here with the perspective of learning and understanding Taiwanese culture. really good
