Reviews
A big thank you to our Twin Lakes trekking guide Putu! She was professional, enthusiastic, and attentive, patiently introducing us to the local natural environment and plant knowledge along the way. She also took special care of our two children, making the entire trekking process easy and fun. The children absolutely loved her and chatted happily throughout the journey. Thank her for giving us an unforgettable Bali trekking experience, highly recommended!
导游:Guide Agung is super nice and professional. He knows a lot about this land and showed us the birds and various plants in the jungle,He even made me a bracelet with rattan. Many stories are very interesting. If you love nature ,this would be a very meaningful hike. 徒步难度:It's a total distance of 2km.It's a bit muddy, but very simple for experienced people. and beginners can also choose the simple path. 风景:A very primitive jungle, the temple at the end is very beautiful.
Truly nice! The scenery is beautiful! As a working professional, I haven't been in nature for a long time, and I highly recommend trying this activity when you come to Bali. The hike isn't too difficult, lasting about 2 hours. Afterward, we waited to take a canoe to the other side, and then went to eat some local food! It really suited the Cantonese palate, haha! Finally, we went to a waterfall! If you want to swim, please remember to bring your swimsuit! Our guide, Deddy, was also very nice, talkative, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Thank you to him for being our guide. Thanks to Eli, who picked us up and patiently waited all day! All in all, it was great value for money! So much fun!
Itinerary: We departed from Ubud at 8:30 AM and arrived at 10:00 AM. The trek started at 10:30 AM. The path was a bit narrow in some places, but not difficult. Just watch your step. The hike and rafting took about three hours. If you also visit the waterfall, it will take longer, but we canceled the waterfall part because it was raining and a bit cold, so we finished the itinerary around 2:00 PM. Scenery: The scenery along the way is beautiful, a real tropical rainforest feel. There are many strangler figs, and you can really feel the power of nature. Guide: Our guide was a female guide named Luhde, and her service was very attentive. She brought us water and Indonesian snacks, which were delicious! Highly recommend her! She also provided some explanations along the way, and if you have any questions, you can ask, and she will be happy to answer them. Hiking Difficulty: It's actually not that difficult. If you can handle the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall in Surabaya, this is just like strolling through the park. There are slopes, but none are difficult to walk. Equipment Provided: There might be wooden sticks available, but we didn't need them. The guide helped us take pictures with our phones and also prepared some water and snacks for us. After the hike and rafting, we had lunch, which was also very delicious. 👍🏻
this was such a brilliant experience. the hike was easy going down to the canoes, just a little bit slippery from the rain but no issue at all. there were a few bugs so better brilliant prepared and bring bug spray with you - but pur guide had some to share. thank you Luhde for the amazing tour and experience and for your patience! And thank you Buda for your amazing driving and the culture lesson you told us in the way.
We had a great time ! The driver was punctual, flexible and spoke good English. Our guide Luhde was informative and took very good care of us. we were very lucky with the weather and Luhde took some really nice pictures for us! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who would like a bit of exercise and beautiful scenery!
one of the best experience in Bali, I suggest absolutely to try with this tracking group, they are funny kind and definitely genuine, beside the tracking part which is marvelous by the nature and temples, the food they will offer you in their warung is healthy very balanced in flavour and traditional, the place is quiet and after the waterfall it's a relaxing experience let the chef guide you with the choice and enjoy
Our driver was professional and friendly, happy to answer our random questions on the way to the start point. Our guide was knowledgeable with a sense of humour. She shared with us different aspects of balinese hindu culture, as well as the plant life we saw during the jungle trek. The trek was easy to moderate, mostly down hill. Some portions were slippery and muddy due to rain the day before. The canoe crossing was magnificent to see, and got a chance to do some paddling. The waterfall we gave a miss, as the track down, though fully paved, was rather steep. Would recommend a good number of breaks and spare knees to get to and fro the waterfall. Our guide had pictures of the waterfall to show us even though we didn't make it down ourselves. Lunch was enjoyable, served by friendly staff. Overall good experience.
A very fulfilling day trip! The tour guide was attentive and friendly, the itinerary was well-organized, and the hiking difficulty was suitable for beginners. The scenery of Twin Lakes was like a wonderland, unforgettable! There were cute puppies everywhere, which added to the fun of the trip. The tour guide led us to a lodge in the mountains for lunch, the environment was quiet and peaceful, and the food was delicious!
A very happy trip! The driver arrived at the hotel at 7 o'clock to wait and departed on time at 8 o'clock. We met our guide, Putu Karisna, at about 10 o'clock. Putu prepared mineral water and banana chips for us (and prepared fruit again after the monkeys snatched them), as well as a "lifesaving" bamboo pole. The weather was beautiful, sunny all the way, but it wasn't hot in the rainforest, only some of the roads were a bit difficult to walk. During the hike, Putu gave us explanations in English, which was very professional 👍. We learned about many plants, such as coffee beans, lemongrass, and orchid roots. The Twin Lakes and waterfalls were also very beautiful, and the final lunch was delicious, much better than the food at the hotel. I specifically bought an extra portion of corn chips 👍.
