Chiben National Forest Recreation Area Tickets

The park is quite spacious, and it's very pleasant to walk around! It's perfect for escaping the heat in the afternoon. This time, I brought my parents to Taitung, and this was one of our stops. 💙 I saw many positive reviews, and I really recommend buying tickets directly on Klook (a full-price ticket is $100 at the gate, but it's $20 cheaper here!). Once you enter the park, just show the QR code to the staff for scanning.

Just go to the ticket gate and show the QR cord to enter the park! The local service staff is friendly and will give you maps! A forest full of trees, absorbing phytoncides! The air quality is good! It’s not too strenuous to climb the mountain road! Beautiful scenery! There is also a foot bath, which is very comfortable! The parking fee is 100 yuan/time, and there is no charge for motorcycles! Good planning, there is a parking lot right after leaving the park! No more backtracking! 👍

When buying tickets for travel, I always check Klook first. This national forest is fairly well-maintained, and many reviewers say they've seen Reeves's muntjac. Unfortunately, this time I encountered rain in the afternoon and had to end the trip early, so I left without seeing one. All in all, it's a comfortable place.

Since our trip included Zhiben, we naturally had to visit the Zhiben Forest Recreation Area. I often use Klook to book tickets for these types of attractions because it's convenient and fast. Thumbs up!

There are both paved steps and natural gravel paths. You can easily spot muntjac deer and monkeys along the way. The restrooms in the visitor center are very clean, and there seem to be more than three water fountains. There's also a restaurant nearby.
