Reviews
the agent contacted us the day before and told us the waterfall is closed temporarily due to damaged facility... have to change to another trip going to the monkey mountain, park for the Thai great king and vineyard. a bit disappointed but the substiute is not bad. on monkey mountain, can have a very nice view of HuaHin beach. and the vineyard is amazing too. we ordered some food in the vineyard, surprisingly yummy
The waterfall walk is interesting, but you need to climb mountains and wading with both hands and feet. It is recommended to wear sneakers or even hiking shoes, and choose a sunny day, otherwise the muddy road will be slippery. The winery has no grapes in July (the tour guide said that it will be the most in February), but it is still a comfortable place. The tour guide also took us to the famous local Shengxi Temple to worship the Buddha and the pineapple garden without pineapples, so that we can walk and stretch after a long drive. The only pity is that although the lunch is marked as Thai, it is actually a Chinese side dish, but the taste is not lost.
The itinerary is exciting and compact ~ there are many beautiful scenery, you can get close to nature, feed fish, etc. The winery has beautiful scenery, and the lunch at your own expense is delicious. It is worth a visit! The tour guide and driver are caring, attitude, considerate service, and their driving skills are very good!
Better than my expectation, the route is nice with the experienced tour guide. Not much people choosing this plan when we were there so it was a very nice environment and we thought the waterfall part was the most interesting one.
It was an enjoyable trip, probably because the weather was just fine for waterfall outing, only cloudy but no rain. It required a bit of strength and energy to walk and sometimes climb the rocks, and the rock surface will be slippery. our guide was good, and overall it was safe. Wear walking shoes, no slippers is a must. Funny experience as you can swim under the waterfall with the fish. In the afternoon, the guide brought us to Monsoon Valley vineyard and tasting of 3 glasses of wine was included in the package. The place was beautiful and wine was good.
We were met by Mr Noi at the hotel lobby at 8.30am promptly. He has a great wealth of knowledge and experience about Thailand and the region. I would say that this tour has not only enriched my experience but made it a learning journey for me. Highly Recommended. The waterfall has its limitation as it is constrained by the rainfall, water level and your own ability. On our tour day, it was only possible to go up to Level 4. The vineyard was great and we had wine tasting there. Photo Caption: This was us after the waterfall "expedition".
The guide and driver were kind and provided thorough explanations.
The pick-up is on time, the vehicle is spacious, and the driving is smooth. The local English tour guide is very conscientious, and the introduction is detailed. The whole itinerary is pretty good, but the leg strength is also good.

Tour Guide was very friendly and helpful throughout the trip. He ensured that the hike at Pa-La-U waterfall was safe and enjoyable. It would have been better if the Monsoon Valley vineyard provide a short tour of the place or wine-making process.
