Surfing Lesson in Kuta Bali by S Surf School

Awesome time with S Surf School. The instructor was very professional and encouraging. I was very motivated to keep going. It was a really fun and enjoyable session. Best part is they have hotel pick up and photographer to capture the action shot. They are probably the best and most affordable in Bali.

We stayed across from the beach and chose a two-hour lesson. Unexpectedly, after the first lesson, we immediately booked a second day of classes. Safety: Since my child is only 6 years old and not heavy enough, the instructor was by his side the entire time, helping him with the board. Of course, before the lesson, the instructor also taught safety procedures. Instructor: The instructor was very nice and enthusiastic. My child was able to stand up on the first day, and he specifically requested to have the same instructor for the second day. The instructor spent two full hours with him, and by the second day, he could stand on the board for quite a while. During breaks, the instructor even carried him back to the resting area and took him to rinse off. Very professional.

Our instructor was super friendly and welcoming. He first taught us the different parts of the surfboard, then showed us the proper stance before going into the water. Most importantly, he explained all the safety precautions what’s safe and what to avoid while in the water. He was a really fun instructor, which made the whole experience even better. It was my first time surfing, and I was actually able to stand up! I enjoyed it so much that I definitely want to do it again. All the staff were very nice and kind, and they made us feel comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend this for first-timers you’ll feel at ease even if it’s your first try. There’s a public shower area, and they also have a portable setup if you want to change. I personally didn’t change and just dried off before heading home on a motorbike, which is pretty normal in Bali. The place is about 27–29 minutes away from Canggu, but it’s very accessible and totally worth it, especially for beginners.

My family and I went surfing for the first time in our lives. We originally signed up for a group lesson with 3 people and 1 instructor, but the instructor recommended a private lesson, so we paid the extra fee and got a private lesson. This was a great decision. By having an instructor for each beginner, we were able to give careful instruction, and both children and adults were able to stand on the waves in no time.

The instructor is friendly and teaches for a full two hours. Even people who are new to surfing can enjoy it comfortably as they provide pick-up service and provide personalized instruction. I had a great time~~ I want to come again next time

Surfing with Allex was absolutely amazing! He's a really great instructor. He teaches you step-by-step, starting with the basics, and helps you understand safety clearly and precisely. Most importantly, his signals for what to do and when when a wave is coming were a huge help with surfing. Learning from Allex at S Surf was much more helpful than a lesson I took at another famous surf school in Bali. It was so much fun and he helped me make unforgettable memories. The photos and videos he sent afterwards were an unexpected treat. Next time I come to Bali, I'll definitely surf with S Surf again.

Our coach who named Jojo is really nice. He made us a safe and wonderful time on surfing. We had a lot of fun in the two hours with big progress. Suprisely, S surd school give us two so many photos for free!

Tiger and Frans are both amazing and impressive surf instructors. My friend and I had a wonderful morning with them on our second day in Bali. They confirmed with us the pick up time and address one night before, and went to the wrong villa the next morning (very well done Tiger 👏🏼). But thanks for sharing with us a nice treat of Balinese breakie, the banana thing was very tasty :) And good job camera man!!!

First time surfer but it was an amazing and awesome experience. Totally worth the value. Pick up was on time. The operator took many photos too. Planning another return very soon :) Recommended to take a few sessions.
