thank you to our driver/guide Wirawan. the dolphins were amazing and also the temples and hot spring were a great experience too. the temples location and sights were breathtaking, take care in the hot springs as the floor is slippery and wet. would recommend this trip to anyone in Bali!
I looked for multiple itinerary packages, and only KLOOK’s package perfectly matched what I wanted to do: watching dolphins at sunrise and visiting Brahma Vihara Arama, and it also had the Sky Gate, which was the icing on the cake. Since dolphin watching must be carried out in the early morning and the journey is long, the driver arrived at the hotel to pick us up before 2.30 midnight. The driver and tour guide that day was named Wira. He was a mature and polite man. He was very steady, careful, patient, and had first-class driving skills. He had more than 20 years of experience in the tourism industry. We introduced ourselves as soon as we met, and before driving we were reminded again to bring the necessary necessities and enough warm clothes, because waiting at the beach in the early morning to go out to sea, and blowing on the boat are both cold and windy, so we must bring thick coats. When we arrived at the beach and waited to board the boat, Wira stayed with us and we felt much safer. Wet your calves when getting on board, preferably wearing long pants that can be pulled up and shoes that can be wet, or take your shoes off. There were three groups of six people on our boat, one sitting in a straight line with the other. Not long after we got out of the boat, we saw the bright red fiery sun. In the early days of leaving the ship, because there are so many ships, the ship will be jammed, and dolphins will not be seen. Until everyone goes their separate ways, the dolphins will jump out of the sea and fly in a wider space. The beauty of nature and the power of life are infinitely moving! After watching the dolphins, Wira recommended a restaurant on the mountain. It has a first-class view and a panoramic view of the north. The food is delicious, the environment is comfortable and hygienic, and I am very satisfied! Then set off for Brahma Vihara Arama. This is the largest Buddhist temple in Bali, with a solemn and peaceful atmosphere. Some people say it is a smaller version of Borobudur, and it really does look like it. Since everything in the temple is written in Indonesian, Wira tried his best to translate and explain to us. During the period, he also took photos for us, both from far and near. He was very attentive! Wira knew that we wanted to stay longer, so he waited quietly for us to chant without any prompting or complaint. Then we arrived at the Sky Gate. We only took a few pictures outside and left without going inside. We heard from the security guard that we had to wait for an hour or two before we could take a few pictures. I thought it was a waste of time and the schedule for the day had already been completed. Soon, Wira had to finish work and go home, so we immediately set off for the return flight. It was almost 6 o'clock when we returned to the hotel. This day's itinerary was very fulfilling and satisfying. I saw what I wanted to see, and Wira's care made the trip smoother! Wira was the only driver among the several tour groups we participated in in Bali who always asked if we wanted an extra bottle of water when we got on the bus. We were really satisfied with this trip! Thank you Wira!
a wonderful day although we only saw 2 dolphins and no food for the fish feeding, only 1 slice of bread was given for the 3 of us which the fish were not interested in.
Driver Mr Kadek picked up at 5am. It was 3hrs ride to Lovina. Reached around 2hr+ and continue took the boat to see the dolphins. Didn’t managed to see sunrise but there’s so many dolphins that we can see. Awesome trip but snorkelling only provide goggles without the tube. so quite abit disappointed.
The driver (TBA is written as a nickname for Ketutbadra?) and the boat driver were both great. If you don't see this, you've really missed out on your life. I saw the dolphins right next to me and I was so happy. The driver, TBA, gave us plenty of free time and had great knowledge of safe driving and the culture. He was able to communicate with me even though my language skills were poor and he was a gentleman. Not only that, the boat driver didn't go where people went but went where he believed in and we followed his lead and were able to see the dolphins and my mom and aunt praised him!!! I recommend it🩷
I thought this wasn't a private tour, bt it was. We got the van & boat to ourselves. Both drivers were very friendly and helpful. We are a family of 6 with very young kids of age 5 and below, both drivers assisted every way they could with the kids. The experience was exceptional to be able to see so many dolphins swim by up close. The sunrise was beautiful! The kids enjoyed themselves, especially since this was their 1st boat ride. Thank you team for making the experience memorable for us! ♥️ Special shout out to the van driver Pak Kadek for assisting to send our lost thermos flask back to our hotel. Tq!
A great activity for family and friends! Our driver Made had picked up from our villa early despite the 2.5hrs drive, as our villa was far away. Also, we had arrived on time at Lovina Beach but had to wait for a bit for the other participants. Do make sure to wear comfortable clothes, as it can get very sunny and wet. The boat ride to the location of the dolphins was abt 30mins & you can see the dolphins. Just make sure you take videos instead of pictures as the dolphins are quite shy. Afterwards, we went to the hot spring which was quite an average experience. Do rmb to brg extra clothes if you wish to dip in. There’s some stalls nearby selling clothes which you can haggle the prices. We skipped the buddhist temple visit as it was getting too long and the weather was really hot and humid. Our final destination was the Handaran Gate which was an amazing thing to see. There’s a local who can help to take pics but do rmb to give him a tip. Overall, it was a good experience and Made was a great & friendly guide. Although the journey was long (due to the location of our villa), he made it bearable during the journey. Do rmb to take your breakfast before starting your journey as this does not come with breakfast/lunch.
Nice experience! Need to wake up as early as 2am to reach there because the sunrise view was super amazing at 5am!
We had a wonderful trip! We left at around 8am in the morning because we did not want to stand up that early, but was worrying that we might not see anything. But we did! Amazing experience also with bar that you can hold on to and see dolphins underwater. definitely recommend!
Although we had to go out at 3:30 in the morning, it was all worth it when we saw so many dolphins. The driver was also great and the car drove smoothly. Also note that at Handara Gate, if you give your camera to someone there to take pictures, you will be charged an additional fee. This is not included in the trip fee. If you let a Klook tour guide help you take pictures, there is no additional charge.
