From the moment you enter, you'll feel like you're part of the Tea Party, it's incredibly immersive. You can even personally toss chests of tea into the sea. This is a must-visit attraction to understand Boston's history.
My son enjoyed the drama and learned a lot about the history of the Boston Tea Party. I was more troubled because I couldn't understand it clearly because my English was not very good.
It's more like an immersive experience of the Tea Party events than a museum, and those who like history will enjoy it. The on-site staff will imitate the accent of the colonial era more than 200 years ago. Those who want to come must speak English well enough to understand.
immersive experience - the staff never broke character and allowed us to really learn about such a pivotal part of US history
It's really fun, just like the cover, no lie. I got to play throwing boxes into the sea. It's a very strange experience, but you have to understand English a bit. It's full of history.
It's a very fun experience to immerse yourselves in this history event. Good for kids with some basic US tea party history background. Easy book on Klook though no refund if book the same day tour.
The Boston Tea Party Museum offers an immersive journey into American history, with engaging exhibits and interactive experiences that bring the events of the past to life. The guides are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, adding depth and enthusiasm to the visit, making it an unforgettable educational experience for visitors of all ages.
Museum is lively and has lots of audience participation. You go as a group as various actors act out lots of scenes from a very idealised scenario of the Boston Tea Party. The group I was in was very large which meant that it was hard to see all of the ‘rooms’.
