Booking Requirements
- Before making a reservation, please make sure the International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by your home country is eligible for car rental service in Taiwan
- A valid credit card from the Lessee (Visa and MasterCard are accepted) is required. For security reasons, a copy will be taken before the rental begins
- The driver or lessee must be at least aged 25+ with a driver's license valid for at least 6 month(s) before the expiration date
- Renters are required to bring back the car with the same amount of fuel as picked up. Failure to fill up the gas will incur an additional fuel charge with TWD100 service fee
- You are required to inform the authority and the operator immediately if any accident happened to the car. Please do not try to settle the compensation or fix the car without informing the operator. Otherwise, you may have to pay all costs and expense for the loss or damages
- Refer to the Rental Notice from the operator for more detailed regulations
Additional information
- Please note: For bookings between 1-15 Apr 2020, only car rentals for 3+ days are available
- Daily rate: 1 day is equal to 24 hours
- Booking prices of all packages are weekday special rates. If your rental period includes Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays (or 1 day before a public holiday) or you need any accessory equipment, please see the following miscellaneous fees under Surcharges at the bottom of this page
- You may not be able to book a specific car type or color in advance. The operator will arrange one of the car models in the same class for you
- In-Destination Car Rental Limitations for Specific Countries:
- Hong Kong: An International Driving Permit is not required. You may present your local driver’s license upon pick up
- Macau: An International Driving Permit is not required. You may present your local driver’s license upon pick up or at least 14 days within the rental period
- Japan: Japanese driver’s license and the Chinese translated copy of your Japanese driver’s license are required
- Singapore and Malaysia: Singapore and Malaysian nationals are allowed to book car rental services in Taiwan with IDP and local driver's license
- China, Korea, Thailand: Tourists originating from these countries are not allowed to book car rental services in Taiwan
- The driving permission of each country’s IDP or local driver’s license is subject to the latest update of Taiwan authority
- Child seats are available upon request
