Tanjung Rhu Mangrove Tour in Langkawi

This is best itinerary I supposed if you have no plan to get wet. You get to feed the Monkeys, watch brown eagle feed on the chicken skin, get down the boat and walk into a cave to see Bat sleeping, get on a Kelong and touch some exotic species like Porcupine Sea Urchin and Zebra Shark! The view of Kilm Geo Forest is nice as always. This is actually my second time with this tour. Still enjoys it.

Love the tour. It was nice and relaxed. Our guide/boat driver was very friendly, telling stories and taking pictures of the guests. The only thing I’d like to mention is to think twice about the included lunch—it’s definitely not worth it. Lunch is served at the last stop, where there is a small café to buy soft drinks. You may want to bring some snacks or just wait until the end of the tour.

Joined the Basic Mangrove Tour (shared boat, no meals, meet at Tanjung Rhu pier) and overall it was a good experience. The mangrove scenery is beautiful and relaxing, with limestone cliffs, calm waters, and some wildlife like eagles and monkeys. The guide shared useful information about the mangrove ecosystem. Just note that if you choose the no-meal package, the boat will stop at the floating sea restaurant and you’ll need to wait there for about 40 minutes while others have their meal before heading back to the jetty. Not a big issue, but good to know in advance. Meeting point was easy to find and the tour started on time. Good value for money and suitable for first-time visitors who want a simple mangrove tour.

Very worth it .... Must go for this Mangrove tour, enjoy very much because the guide explain and tell us every stories and provide useful information. Both my kids 5 and 9 years old also enjoy this tour. They are good as in safety 1st, all of us were asked to wear life jacket before the tour, unlike some other tour.

Relaxing and well timed trip. We went during raining season, but we were so lucky during this trip, it was not raining but with less sun but cool breeze. The boat guy Muhammad is a nice and bergaya, speaks good English and engage with passengers well. My 60+ year old parents was happy with the trip, suitable for them as it does need too much walking. Just wear sports shoes all the way is best.

We were lucky to have a great guide take us around the mangroves and caves of northern Langkawi! Awesome to see eagles, monkeys, bats and sea otters along the way. The only downside was waiting at the floating restaurant because we want to have lunch elsewhere but would recommend this tour!

My family enjoyed the boat tour, it was fun and amazing. The guide was friendly and informative, he will explained the stories and share the experience. Taking care of all the people in the boat. Overall is worth to the price, memorable and relaxing tour.

Everything from the hotel transfer to the tour itself was fantastic, I have absolutely no complaints! The driver contacted me directly the day before to confirm the hotel pick-up time, and they arrived right on time to pick me up from the hotel ^_^ The tour was even better than I imagined, and the guide was very funny and kind. The content was enjoyable even if you don't understand much English! I'm so glad I joined the tour ◎
