Coconut Forest Basket Boat Ride Experience in Hoi An

Fun and unique experience in Hoi An! 🛶🌴 The coconut basket boat ride through the lush Bay Mau Coconut Forest was relaxing, scenic and a little adventurous. The local boatman was friendly and entertaining, especially the spinning boat performance. Around 40 minutes is enough, and it’s a great activity for first-time visitors. Worth trying!

This was a truly beautiful experience. Thanks to Klook, I feel like I had a great value experience at an affordable price. I highly recommend it to Korean travelers visiting Hoi An. Using the ticket is very simple. When you arrive at the location provided by Klook, a guide in a Klook uniform will lead you from the beginning and arrange for you to board the coconut boat. After the enjoyable Mekong River activity, you'll return to the starting point, and the itinerary concludes with delicious coconut. As a side note, for those who have some free time after the itinerary, I recommend calling a Grab and enjoying a leisurely visit to An Bang Beach. Personally, I think this is Vietnam's best activity for its value.

Fuss free to use the voucher, nice 20min session going through the river via the coconut boat, there were singing performances on the river and you can pay extra fees for the spinning (100k vnd), also bought a nice coconut sweet soup dessert at the ending point

Such a fun and memorable experience! The basket boat ride through the coconut forest was beautiful and very unique. The highlight was definitely the spinning boat performance – super exciting and fun! Our boat guide was friendly, helped to take photos for us, and the package included a free coconut drink, which was very refreshing in the heat. The whole experience felt lively and entertaining. They also offer a photo session service if you’d like to purchase professional photos. Along the way, there are karaoke pit stops where you can enjoy the atmosphere and give tips if you wish (completely optional). Tip: Try to go early around 8am because it gets very hot by 9 or 10am. April is especially hot season, with no rain and barely any clouds, so the sun can be quite strong. Going earlier makes the experience much more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Hoi An and want something different and fun!

The basket boat ride through the coconut forest was a unique and enjoyable experience. Our boat rower was friendly and funny! They know alot of Filipino words and even showed some fun spinning tricks with the boat, which made the ride more entertaining. After the ride, we were served a fresh coconut drink, which was very refreshing—especially after being out in the sun. It was the perfect way to cool down and relax after the activity.

This experience was so fun as our boat rower was entertaining and also very helpful in taking pics for us. Easy to redeem as well. Just look for a person wearing klook tshirt and show your qr and they will escort you to the boat. Definitely a must do if you are visiting danang. Thankfully the weather was not too hot. Tip: Go in the late afternoon to get the golden hour shots!

We booked while in Hoi An. Called a Grab, cheap and about 10mins drive. When we got out of Grab, a staff came and lead us to the port for boarding. There's a restroom on site if needed, it's clean. Though it's hot in late June morning(~9:40 a.m.), the blue sky and green water make vivid colorful pictures. We didn't do spins but enjoyed watching others spin😆. There were a few Karaoke stages on the river which many local enjoyed, fun to watch but we don't understand the songs at all. Our boatman helped us taking some good photos and we gave him a courtesy tip.

This is a fun activity when you visit Hoi An. Locals will greet you warmly and will make you feel comfortable the entire time. Went there morning and it was extremely hot so wear proper clothing to protect you from sun burn. Hung was our boat driver and she’s fun to talk with.

good boatman, good service. Though he don't speak English well, but he is every entertaining as he would sing songs from your country and greet you with your language. He also help us to take a lot of pictures too !! In general, we enjoyed it a lot.

For three people, booking through Klook was cheaper than two baskets, hehe =))). Ms. Hanh, the shop owner, even came out to the street to greet us and lead us into the restaurant. 😍 The staff rowing the basket boats were very enthusiastic, from chatting and creating a lively atmosphere to taking photos and videos. Haha, thank you so much, Mr. Quoc Anh! I have so many beautiful photos and videos now. 🤣🤣🤣 By the way, the coconut dessert at the restaurant is also delicious.
