I was looking forward to participating in the 8-hour ice climbing experience, but unfortunately the trip was cancelled due to drastic weather changes. However, the operator was very considerate and arranged a hiking trip for me at around 11:00 am, so that I could at least go up the mountain and experience the magnificent scenery. Although it was a bit disappointing that I didn’t get to do the ice climbing, the hike was well worth it and was a great alternative trip. I hope I’ll have the opportunity to successfully complete the ice climbing challenge next time!

Fox Glacier Hike. After watching a video and changing clothes before the trip, you will take a helicopter to the glacier. It will not be very cold on the glacier. Be careful when walking, as the ice is slippery.
