Reviews
We visited the DMZ with our tour guide Julie on August 28th. I warmly recommend this tour that enables to see many different places : the peace Park, the gondola, camp Grieffe, walking in the 3rd tunnel and finally go to the Dora observatory to see North Korea. Julie was a wonderfull guide with a very good English and she could answer all our questions with enthusiasm!!
Tour guide: I was very fortunate to have Shanmei as my tour guide. Her communication before the trip put me at ease, and the entire itinerary was packed and fulfilling. Thanks to Shanmei's super-detailed Chinese explanations, I gained a deep understanding of the Korean War's brutality and the soldiers' longing for home. Having heard the explanations beforehand, watching the memorial video, visiting the Third Tunnel, and looking out at North and South Korea from the observatory felt incredibly immersive. In short, South Korea isn't just about shopping; I highly recommend this tour. It's worth every penny.
Everything was perfect, starting with the pickup instructions. We were a small group in a very comfortable minivan. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and immediately made us feel at ease. The explanations were very interesting and moving. The tour itself is highly recommended: learning about this part of Korean history is a must and makes you understand many things. We were completely satisfied.
Our tour guide, Stella, drove my wife, two Japanese friends, and me to the DMZ. The car was spacious and comfortable, and Stella drove very smoothly. Along the way, she provided information about the scenery in English. The DMZ is a historically valuable site, and seeing North Korea from the observation post was thrilling. Walking through the Third Tunnel was a bit tiring, but it was awe-inspiring. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Stella.
This was one of the most educational tours I've been on. The guide (Julie) was knowledgeable and fun to be around. As an American, I was curious about the history and wanted to learn more. Getting to tour an area with such a conflicted past filled me with respect and admittedly some sadness. It was a great way to learn about Korea. Itinerary: You could really spend two days here. There's a lot to see and to see it all, it's fast paced action all day. Just a little fast- enjoyably so. Guide: Joo Lee (Julie) is fun and socialble, always up for questions and advice. She knew exactly where to be and what to talk about. She even gave us tips on how to walk up the path from the 3rd tunnel which is very steep. She snapped photos for our group when we had the chance and made sure we all felt comfortable asking any questions that came to mind. I would book this tour again in a heartbeat if I was to visit South Korea again!
our tour guide is Jonathan and i swear he really knows history; very informative tour. I enjoyed the discussion and small talks so much. everyone who visits korea should join the DMZ tour. highly recommended tour, as well as the tour guide and company. thanks!
The tour guide was great, very attentive, and the trip was enjoyable.
My family and I went on the DMZ tour on Nov 29, and Julie was our guide. Her service was impeccable, she was thoughtful, knowledgeable and made our tour experience both unforgettable and extremely enjoyable. We look forward to joining her other tours whenever possible. We also want to give a shoutout to Shan Mei, who guided the Chinese-speaking tour members. She was super friendly and even helped guide us at times, which we greatly appreciated.
Had a wonderful tour with our tour guide Mr John. The itinerary was such that we covered every aspect of the DMZ without rushing. The best part though was Mr John's story telling. He explained many nuances of DMZ history while keeping it a fun experience. He was flexible with some late arrivals (which helped us too) but still kept us on schedule. DMZ is a special experience- highly recommended.
This excursion is highly recommended! You get an insight into history and can take a look at North Korea. The highlight of this tour, however, was our guide, Chuck. He wonderfully explained what we saw and the history, and told many stories related to the topic. Chuck also answered the many questions excellently, often even those outside the topic. We felt very well taken care of, as Chuck always made sure everyone was together and that everyone was doing well. An all-around successful excursion. I would book this tour again and again, especially because of Chuck!
