Instructor Hui was very kind and we could communicate very easily in English. She was so encouraging and me and my partner enjoyed the whole session! We started with learning basic rhythm but at the end we were able to get a song together. The hanbok options were very cute as well.
Hwi rocks! Very friendly and encouraging. She’s passionate about traditional Korean folk music and it shows. She played a couple songs and even let me record her. The hanbok was down-to-Earth, not tacky like what you’d see at Gyeongbokgung Palace. The beat we played was a modest challenge for me, should be a piece of cake if you’re a drummer/percussionist. If you’re into playing music and trying new things, this class is well worth your money. I’m gonna buy a janggu when I get home.
