My Sultan Shoal Lighthouse Adventure The weather was cool when I arrived at Pasir Panjang Ferry Terminal at 9am, excited to explore Singapore’s maritime heritage. Just as we were about to depart, the sky turned dark and rain began to pour. However, we stayed positive and hoped the clouds would soon drift away. Our cruise was filled with fascinating stories from three wonderful guides, who took turns sharing Singapore’s maritime history and the stories behind its lighthouses. Their knowledge and enthusiasm made the journey both enjoyable and meaningful. By the time we reached Sultan Shoal Lighthouse and began taking photos, the rain had stopped! It felt like a reminder that even after the darkest clouds, light will always shine through. An enjoyable, happy, and inspiring adventure! If you enjoy discovering Singapore’s hidden gems, learning about its maritime heritage, and escaping by the sea, this tour is definitely worth exploring.
Recommended tour made all the better by the wonderful guides who provided much information on our maritime heritage
Nice experience. good to have information provided by the guides along the way. Will be nice if we can climb to the top?
Very nice and experienced Guide and good introduction to Singapore maritime history. Thank you, Grace.
Great tour guide and highly recommended. Fast and easy booking process. Highly recommended!
We were very disappointed because of the delayed ferry departure resulting in the lack of time on the island. The biggest disappointment was that the entire island experience became extremely rushed. Instead of having sufficient time to walk around, appreciate the greenery, take in the scenery and enjoy the surroundings, we were constantly conscious that we were running out of time. The guide was also clearly affected by the time constraint. There was a constant need to hurry; essentially “faster, faster, faster”; because there was so little time left. You could tell that the guide was also under pressure to complete everything within the limited time. A lighthouse tour should ideally give visitors enough time to understand the place, appreciate its history and surroundings and enjoy being there. Unfortunately, this experience felt more like trying to complete the itinerary within a tight deadline. End up we spent more time on the ferry than we did on the island.
Our guide Mr T C is very experience. When I am not sure and asked him, he can answer straight away no such hhhmmm, eerrrr. I enjoy ther journey with others. I have no regret using klook for this tour. Looking forward for the next tour.
A simple visit to a smal lighthouse. The only thrils are going into a restricted area and seeing the Tuas port. For those who intends to drive to Pasir Panjang Ferry Terminal, note that there are very few public (white) parking lots there. Go very early or take the risk to park at the RED lots. I saw a few people from the tour parked at the RED lots and they got away with NO fine & NO clamp. Finally the parking fee was $9.
