As soon as I arrived at the airport, I was asked to buy a ticket to the Bagan archeological area at the airport. Fortunately, I had to send passport information beforehand. The service staff recognized me and refunded the tickets I had purchased.
The company contacted me early to get my details and said that will provide me the driver's details a day before the trip. However i didnt get any info until last night before the trip. So i had to call using my handphone while i am in Yangon. So expensive 🤦‍♀️ and i arrive 1 hour in advance, so asked the bus company to call the driver. I even the company thru email the cost if driver bring me to sunrise spot before hotel. she said that it will be 5,000 kyat and i need to deal with the driver directly. But the in actual, i need to pay 10,000 kyat and the driver said that it is standard price. but its okay, the sunrise view was awesome! with the hot air balloon 😍
Package only includes archaeological zone ticket & private tuk tuk transfer "from bus station/airport to hotel", not as stated in "inclusive" part ie "transfer within" the zone. Even after double confirm with klook agent, but local agent denied the service of private tuk tuk transferring within the zone. Not sure if it's misunderstanding between klook or local agent, but the package description is kinda misleading. Kindly revise/improve your service. Thank you.
Buying this ahead before even going to Bagan made our travel smoother and faster. We didn't have to worry about where to buy it when we arrived there. It's recommended to buy in advance and print a copy of the ticket. It's a small amount to help the tourism in the place.
great convenience as friendly tuk tuk driver was already standing at the bus stop. yet a bit more expensive as the archeological entrance fee is 25000 mrk (~ 17 USD) so with less convenience you can get it cheaper if you stay close to the bus station
The toot driver was very punctual, but he had a problem at the ticket office. . .
My experience with the stuff was totally excellent. Reached bagan 5am in the morning and their stuff was already there waiting for me with my name sign. The driver even assisted me with my luggage then we went to the ticket zone, not even 5 minutes I already got my ticket, hassle free, no need to step down from the car. After that, They sent me after to my hotel and Mr. Kyaw kyaw (if i am not mistaken) lead me to the reception. Over all, I had a very convenient transfer from the bus station to my hotel. I was so happy of the service. Thank you klook, kelly and team for the VIP treatment.
I took taxi from Bagan bus stop to my hotel. Half way there was an official checkpoint where tourists supposed to buy the tickets. I showed the Klook tickets and one of the guy tried to use his QR code reader to read the Klook QR code. But it showed invalid code. He tried multiple times and it never worked. He forced me to buy the tickets but I refused. He finally called his boss and the boss told the guy to ask me to buy tickets. The guy told me ‘I cannot leave the place without buying tickets’. After few minutes of quarrel, the boss called the guy back and asked him to take a picture of the Klook QR code and finally they allowed me to go in. The whole episode took about 20 minutes and it was very frustrating especially when you just reached Bagan after 9 hours of bus journey. Klook should ensure that all the necessary actions taken prior to selling us tickets. The guys there don’t even know what is Klook.
