Hanbok Rental near Gyeongbokgung Palace by Dorothy Hanbok

“I had a great experience renting a hanbok near Gyeongbokgung Palace. The staff were friendly and helped me choose a style that suited me well. The hanbok was clean, comfortable, and beautiful in photos. It made exploring the palace even more special. Highly recommend trying this when visiting Seoul!”

This is my 2nd time hanbok experience. We arrived early and managed to choose the hanbok we like with the help from staff. We met a staff from Malaysia who can speak Mandarin, English and Korean well! Great service and beautiful hanbok and accessories! We booked for 3 hours for family as we brining small kids, just nice to explore slowly to Gyeongbokgung which is about 12mins walk from this Hanbok shop~ We even got free instant photo prints from them. Really lovely and friendly shop! Highly recommended to all!

They have the best reviews among all choices here on Klook 💖 The two ladies were very helpful and hands-on on us. We felt very special during our visit in their shop because it is less crowded compared to other stores 🥹🫶 Especially thanks to their staff who lend us a tripod and congratulate us on our wedding engagement. One of our most favorite experiences when visiting South Korea! There were so many beautiful Hanboks to choose from! For any and every size! She was super sweet and patient even when a ton of walk ins rushed in while we were getting ready! You even get to print 2 of your favorite photos that you take during your experience, so make sure to take a lot of good pictures! It was about a 20 min walk to the palace. And you get free admission to the palace and secret garden if you are wearing a hanbok.

The team was suuuuper helpful and the additional KRW5000 for the premium hairstyles were worth it. The store was quite far from Gwanghwamun but we decided to take photos around Bukchon Hanok instead, and it was a great experience! Don’t forget to claim the free printed photo freebie!

We chose the skirt color that we wanted and the 2 ladies in the shop will provide us a matching white top. They were also really skilful and efficient in styling the hairstyle. A bag was also provided in our package which was a really nice touch. Small shop but nice friendly service. We will use them again in future.

We recently visited Dorothy’s hanbok rental shop and had a fantastic experience. The place was very clean, which made browsing through the beautiful hanboks feel comfortable and enjoyable. They were exceptionally friendly, they were extremely helpful in assisting us to select the right style and fit. Their guidance made the process smooth and stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend this hanbok rental for anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient experience.

We were scheduled May 1 but it was raining, so upon arriving at the shop there’s a sign to email them for rescheduling. So, we reschedule May 7 but the Gyeongbokgung Palace was closed, I don’t know why. 😞 Anyhow, we still went to the Palace and was able to took a lot of photos outside and visited the Bukchon Hanok Village. Their shop has a lot of Hanbok options to choose from.

Owner and staff were super nice and accommodating. They assisted us with choosing our hanboks, gave us directions how to go to the palace and gave us water and free printed pictures after our rentals. Their hanbok are very pretty and good quality. The place is also a few minutes walk away from Gyeongbukgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village.
