• This visa is available to the following categories of passport holders:
• 1）Special eligibility for Chinese passport holders departing from Australia: Chinese passport holders who hold a valid Australian visa and plan to travel from Australia to New Zealand must meet the following conditions:
• When applying for an NZeTA and during travel, you must use the same passport linked to your Australian visa.
• Applicants must hold a qualifying and valid Australian visa on the day of travel, such as: Visitor visa, Student visa, Temporary Graduate visa, Skills in Demand visa, Work and Holiday visa, Partner visa, or Australian permanent resident visa. Holders of an Australian Transit visa (Subclass 771) are not eligible.
• Applicants must fly directly from Australia to New Zealand (i.e., you must have entered Australia and stayed for a period of time before departing for New Zealand). This does not apply to those only transiting (without entering Australia) or those departing from countries other than Australia.
• 2）Applicants holding passports from the following countries/regions:
• North America: Canada, Mexico, United States (including US Nationals).
• Europe: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia (citizens only), Finland, France, Germany, Greece (only passports issued on or after 1 Jan 2006), Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia (citizens only), Liechtenstein, Lithuania (citizens only), Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal (passports with permanent right of abode), Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom (including citizens and those with right of abode), Vatican City.
• Asia: Bahrain, Brunei, Hong Kong (HKSAR or BNO only), Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Macau (MSAR only), Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan (permanent residents only), United Arab Emirates.
• South America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay.
• Africa: Mauritius, Seychelles.
• For Asia Region: After booking is completed, Operator will contact you within 4 hours during working hours (14:00–23:30, UTC+13) or within 12 hours during non-working hours.
• For Other Regions: Operator will contact you within 12 hours (all times) after your booking is completed.
