As the head of the three Senke families of Japanese matcha, the Omotesenke school continues the orthodox spirit of Sen no Rikyu's tea ceremony. Historically, it has served tea to the royal family and nobles many times, and its noble and elegant tea style is still highly respected.

Experience process - 50 minutes in total

  • Tea Ceremony Culture Guide (approximately 10 minutes) After entering the room, the tea ceremony teacher will explain in detail the history and origin of the tea ceremony, basic etiquette, and introduce various exquisite tea utensils.
  • Tea Making Ceremony Demonstration (approximately 20 minutes) Watch the teacher personally demonstrate the traditional “tea making” process, and then taste exquisite Japanese sweets and rich matcha to feel the delicate layers of the tea soup.
  • Hands-on tea making experience (approximately 20 minutes) Under the guidance of the tea ceremony teacher, you will personally pick up the tea utensils and make your own matcha, experiencing the true meaning of the tea ceremony “ichigo ichie”.
