Mini Ao Dai Handcrafting Experience in Ho Chi Minh City

What an AMAZING experience! Hoà and the team do sush a great job explaining the Ao Doi and its history. I can not recommend enough, they’re committed to persevering traditions through these workshops and you will NOT find a better group of people

We picked this workshop over the coffee making and it was worth it :) the tutor was very helpful and nice to guide us through making mini Ao dais. Managed to finish it within 3 hours of sewing despite being a newbie haha. Woukd definitely recommend people who love crafts and art, some heritage to join.

It was a fun experience learning about the history or Ao Dai and making the dress from start to finish. I am thankful how patient the instructor was with all of our questions. Thank you! I am really happy to have done this workshop.

Was looking for something unique to do in HCM and this mini Aodai workshop was certainly it! The entire process was really fun and relaxing, you'll be really focused on the sewing and it took my mind off other things. There were many fabrics to select from and the process would definitely be simple enough for most people to participate! Strongly recommend if you want to bring home a small piece of the Vietnamese culture!

We had a good time making/ sewing ao dai. As a DIY-lover, having chance to sewing traditional ao dai while sharing the common hobby with the tutors is a great experience for us. This is also a very meaningful handmade present to bring home, not only for tourists but also for local people like us.

Compared to coffee and cooking classes, the Ao Dai making experience impressed me more. The event was organized by a very young and small team dedicated to promoting Vietnamese traditional culture, and they are really doing meaningful things. The sewing teacher was also very professional and gentle, even beginners with zero experience could complete their own work with her help. Highly recommended!
