Picked up near the hotel by shuttle bus at 9:30 AM, then went to the BSI terminal and boarded the tour bus to Hvammsvik Hot Springs on time at 10:00 AM. The return pick-up time of 1:30 PM was also arranged with plenty of time. The atmosphere here is more peaceful than traditional Icelandic hot springs, and the number of people is noticeably smaller, allowing us to enjoy the hot springs with a wide view and feel relaxed. In addition, because the weather was cold, I brought my own bathrobe and slippers. Drinks and restaurant food here require an extra charge. In addition, the staff here are very friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and worth recommending!
absolutely love the hotspring! weather was great too. experience was amazing and the people at the counter explained everything well to us first timers. bus was convenient and seamless and was able to drop us off at what stop we like.
Newly launched activity, punctual driver pick-up; after participating on 11/02, some catering details were unclear, and as of today (11/06), Klook is still processing it; after entering, a sensor bracelet is provided, which can open and close a private locker multiple times; you need to bring your own towel/bath towel or rent one on site; the hot spring area has indoor and outdoor washing spaces, and the shower spaces are fully open and semi-open (simple partitions, the entrance to the partition is a horizontal half-body double baffle with no lock). Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer are provided on site. Consumption in the hot spring area and restaurant can be charged to the sensor bracelet, and you can pay when you leave; the open-air hot spring is right by the lake, and you walk barefoot between the hot spring pools. You need to pay attention to the small stones on the path. I saw other tourists bring their own slippers to wear when moving around. You can ask the staff on site if you can wear slippers to enter.
Amazing expierence really enjoyed. lots of time spent in the hot springs. only about 45mins from Reykjavik
I do not recommend using Reykjavík Excursions as a tour operator. Bad customer service, unfriendly staff, and poor communication concerning pick up times and points.
