What to expect

Discover Singapore’s heritage through a 1.5-hour lantern-making workshop. Once a common sight during Mid-Autumn Festival and temple events, handmade lanterns reflect a craft rooted in community life. Learn the traditional paper strapping method, personally passed down to our instructors by veteran craftsman Mr Yeo Swee Huat, who has dedicated his life to preserving this fading artform

Guided step by step, you’ll craft your own lantern while exploring the cultural symbolism and history behind it. With all materials provided, this hands-on workshop is perfect for families, friends, and all ages
