Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort: A Powder Snow Paradise for Ski Enthusiasts
- Basic Information Yuzawa Kogen is known for its high-quality powder snow and diverse slopes suitable for all levels. It features a 210m vertical drop and nine lifts. As the only resort in the Echigo-Yuzawa area offering panoramic town views, you enjoy magnificent scenery while skiing.
- Location The resort is highly convenient: just a 10-minute walk (approx. 800m) from Echigo-Yuzawa Station (Joetsu Shinkansen).

【Lesson Fees】 Private lesson fees do not include gear, insurance, lift tickets, equipment, meals, or transport.
【Equipment】
- Mandatory: Insurance, lift ticket, and complete, correctly sized gear (including helmet, boots, ski/board, etc.) are required. Instructors will refuse instruction without refund for incomplete gear due to safety concerns.
- Rental/Timing: Students must self-arrange rental, arrive early to gear up, and be ready at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to the start.
【Eligibility & Liability】
- The representative must inform all students. Skiing is high-risk. Participants must be mentally/physically fit and free of doctor-prohibited conditions (e.g., pregnancy, heart disease). Minimum Age: 5. Children under 7 and adults over 60 must enroll in a 1-on-1 private lesson.
- Participants must purchase applicable overseas ski insurance.
- Waiver: No student replacements or group size changes without consent. Participants acknowledge injury risk and voluntarily assume full liability.
【Safety Statement】
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to resort rules and instructor guidance. Do not enter slopes exceeding skill level or closed areas/night ski areas.
- On-Slope Rules: Follow lift staff; do not shake or play. Never stop in slope centers, intersections, or blind spots.
- Safety Protocol: Immediately inform the instructor and stop skiing if injured. Report faulty gear immediately for replacement. Do not carry unsafe items.
