Step into a beautifully-designed studio with luxurious fittings and modern amenities, and get ready to experience the charm of traditional Peranakan shophouse design. Explore the rich blend of Chinese, Malay, and European influences that define this iconic architectural style. Study actual shophouse facades and uncover the stories behind their intricate details. Then, get hands-on with clay to carve, stamp, and texture a 10x15cm relief tile inspired by these historic buildings. Bring your masterpiece to life using traditional underglazes in authentic shophouse colours, and gain insight into the full ceramic crafting process—from the patient shaping of the raw material to the intense heat of a 1220°C kiln
