Mount Fuji Day Trip from Tokyo Daily Departure: Chureito Pagoda, Kawaguchiko Oishi Park, Oshino Hakkai, Lawson Convenience Store
- Arakurayama Sengen Park is an excellent spot to admire Mount Fuji. The Chureito Pagoda stands within the park, forming a classic scene with Mount Fuji in the distance. The scenery changes distinctly with the seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, fiery red maple leaves in autumn, and picturesque snowscapes in winter. Ascending the 398 stone steps reveals a breathtaking view, attracting countless photography enthusiasts to capture this postcard-perfect landscape, making it one of Japan's iconic sights.
- Lake Kawaguchiko is the most popular of the Fuji Five Lakes and an excellent place to enjoy the scenery of Mount Fuji. If you're lucky, you might even see the spectacular "inverted Fuji" reflected on the lake from Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. You can enjoy different flowers throughout the four seasons and take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside while admiring the beautiful views. Kawaguchiko Craft Park also offers various handicraft experiences, making it perfect for family trips.
- Oishi Park is located on the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko and is an excellent spot for photographing Mount Fuji. The scenery changes distinctly with the seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, vibrant lavender and kochia in summer, and in autumn, large fields of fiery red kochia frame Mount Fuji, creating a unique and spectacular view. Whether you take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside boardwalk or visit the nearby Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center, you can experience the poetic beauty of the lake and mountains.
- Oshino Hakkai, located at the foot of Mount Fuji, is one of the constituent assets of the World Cultural Heritage site "Mount Fuji – Object of Worship and Source of Artistic Inspiration." The eight natural spring ponds are formed by Mount Fuji's melted snow, filtered naturally over decades. The spring water is crystal clear, and combined with traditional thatched-roof houses, waterwheels, and a quaint village, it presents a rich Japanese rural charm. Strolling through, you can not only admire the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji reflected in the springs but also experience traditional Japanese culture and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination.

Summer (June-July): Fragrant lavender fields, purple waves and Mount Fuji create a Provence-like atmosphere. Autumn (September-October): Vibrant red kochia (bassia scoparia) spheres cover the fields, resembling a burning Martian landscape at sunset. Winter (December-March): Snow-covered Mount Fuji reflects on the frozen lake, a pure white world of serene beauty. 【Oshino Hakkai】 Oshino Hakkai is located at the foot of Mount Fuji, formed by eight crystal-clear spring ponds from Mount Fuji’s melted snow, naturally filtered over decades. Superb excursion with incredible places to visit. The weather was magnificent, which allowed us to see a magnificent Mount Fuji! The Kobe beef Shabu Shabu was delicious 🥰. Thank you to the driver and guides for this exciting day!!!
A wonderful experience! Mitsuko-san was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide. Meetup and transfers were easy and lunch was delicious (I had the vegetarian spinach curry). The only improvement I can think of was we only spent 50 min in the Saiko Iyashino Sato Nenba village which I felt was a bit short to experience everything it had to offer. Unfortunately due to the cloudiness we did not see Mount Fuji but had a great time regardless :)
It was a well-organized trip with a very caring and informative guide who's a genuinely nice lady. I definitely recommend this tour package. You won't regret it!
Omar and Yo were awesome guides! Very informative and punctual across the whole journey! 100/10 tour.
Due to the weather, we couldn't see Mount Fuji. But having this regret gives us motivation to come back again next time. This tour is great value for the price. The travel agency thoughtfully arranged both Chinese and English-speaking tour guides. Our Taiwanese Mandarin guide, Xiao Ye, was very responsible and deserves a thumbs up 👍. We will consider booking other tours with them next time.
