Location is very out of the way and it’s better if you can book a taxi for the day ($3-4k) and do other activities including paragliding. If you don’t want to spend the money, then you will waste a lot of time waiting for public transport like we did - we wasted half the day just waiting, there’s nothing to do at wanrong station and the paragliding experience only lasted for 5-7mins so it’s a lot of time wasted just to travel there and back. There are other paragliding locations much nearer to Hualien city centre that is not available on Klook, we highly recommend that you ask your hotel accommodations staff for paragliding recommendations nearer to your area instead. For the paragliding experience itself, it’ll be novel if it’s your first time doing it. Otherwise it may be slightly underwhelming even though the views are pretty because it’s so short a duration. It’s also a very small quiet spot so not a lot of people do this activity due to price, there is little festive vibes but pros are that you don’t have to wait and you get the whole view for yourself.
