Light of Creation show in Vienna Votive Church

The show is definitely worth seeing, the church is beautiful, and the duration is just right. You should arrive about 30 minutes early to exchange your ticket at the side entrance on the left of the church. Going in early will help you get a good spot with a full view, so there's no need to buy a premium ticket.

Stage Effects: Absolutely stunning! The combination of lighting, music, and special effects, all within a church, made for a truly unique experience. Booking with Klook: So convenient! There's no need to exchange tickets in advance; just present your e-QR code to the staff for scanning upon entry. Seating: We had Category 2 tickets and didn't choose our seats, so we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves seated right in the center! We were very lucky! Thank you, Klook!

You can perfectly see the infinity symbol light installation between the twin spires of the Votivkirche (Votive Church). Created by Austrian artist Billi Thanner, the approximately 28-meter-long installation features an ♾️ infinity symbol spanning the two Neo-Gothic spires, appearing as a luminous symbol floating in the night sky. This artwork has been incredibly popular since it was illuminated at the end of 2025. Originally scheduled to be on display until the summer of 2026, its exhibition has now been extended until the end of May 2027, so you can still see it if you visit Vienna this year. The lights turn on daily after dusk, typically in a warm white, but they also change to different colors periodically.

This is an amazing experience you shouldn't miss. From the sound to the lighting and the church's acoustics, it creates a beautiful performance beyond imagination. You can take photos and videos; choose a seat in the middle and toward the back to see the full effect of the show.

One of those experiences we’re so glad we didn’t miss! The Light of Creation was truly magical, from the beautiful Votive Church to the music and mesmerizing lights. A breathtaking experience we’ll always remember! You’ll need to exchange the voucher for a physical ticket upon arrival. Just a heads-up: you can’t choose your seats, as they’re randomly assigned based on the category you purchased. Despite that, we still really enjoyed the experience!

Stage effects: Super amazing. Seats: Assigned to the very corner. Convenience of booking with Klook: Very convenient, they send an email and then you scan the QR code to enter. Performance: Fantastic. Price: Acceptable.

Wonderful church. The Genesis light show with music is truly breathtaking. I recommend that everyone book seats in advance and show the email purchase confirmation at the entrance. You can also use the code at the outer entrance of the church to buy tickets online on the same day. Additionally, I suggest sitting in the middle-to-rear section for a wide and expansive view, while sitting right in the center gives you the most symmetrical photos. I bought a first-class ticket, which I highly recommend as there are no obstructions at all. This is, in my opinion, the most worthwhile place to visit in Vienna!

Amazing the light show and it easy to entry into the church for watched this show. It made me had a impressive experience. Good recommendation on this activity.

Tickets purchased on Klook do not come with confirmed seats; you need to get them assigned at the on-site ticket office. If you arrive late, you might end up with back row seats, so I recommend going a bit early. That said, the view from the back is still clear, so it didn't hinder the viewing experience at all. Above all, the atmosphere created by the grand interior of Votive Church and the brilliant lighting was truly mystical and beautiful. It was a very special and unique experience to enjoy in Vienna! However, the 30-minute light show itself felt a bit monotonous, as the patterns were mostly similar with only the colors changing. Even so, the overall atmosphere was so wonderful that it made for a thoroughly satisfying evening itinerary in Vienna.

The light show at the Votive Church in Vienna is truly breathtaking! ✨ With the combination of lights and music, the entire church presents a dreamy and stunning visual effect. The classical architecture and brilliant lighting blend perfectly, making you feel as though you have stepped into another world. The atmosphere on site is incredibly captivating, with every scene full of surprises that keep your eyes darting from one amazing detail to the next. This is definitely an unforgettable experience on a trip to Vienna, and it is well worth seeing! If you are visiting Vienna, definitely do not miss it! 😍
