just Amazed by this show it was worth the evening spend and ultimate experience must experience to have if you are in vienna
The show is definitely worth seeing, the church is beautiful, and the duration is just right. You should arrive about 30 minutes early to exchange your ticket at the side entrance on the left of the church. Going in early will help you get a good spot with a full view, so there's no need to buy a premium ticket.
Amazing the light show and it easy to entry into the church for watched this show. It made me had a impressive experience. Good recommendation on this activity.
You can perfectly see the infinity symbol light installation between the twin spires of the Votivkirche (Votive Church). Created by Austrian artist Billi Thanner, the approximately 28-meter-long installation features an ♾️ infinity symbol spanning the two Neo-Gothic spires, appearing as a luminous symbol floating in the night sky. This artwork has been incredibly popular since it was illuminated at the end of 2025. Originally scheduled to be on display until the summer of 2026, its exhibition has now been extended until the end of May 2027, so you can still see it if you visit Vienna this year. The lights turn on daily after dusk, typically in a warm white, but they also change to different colors periodically.
This is an amazing experience you shouldn't miss. From the sound to the lighting and the church's acoustics, it creates a beautiful performance beyond imagination. You can take photos and videos; choose a seat in the middle and toward the back to see the full effect of the show.
If you purchase just before the show starts, you'll immediately receive a QR code to redeem your ticket. Seats are randomly assigned upon redemption, and the ticket will have your seat number. Even with a Category 2 ticket, you'll still have a great view of the show!
Awesome experiencing this in the City of Music.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's quite beautiful. The only drawback is that even though I bought the most expensive ticket, I realized upon arrival that there's not much difference between the cheap and expensive tickets. They said the view would be obstructed, but it wasn't really that bad. I recommend just buying the regular tickets.
This church light show is truly a must-see, but it seems to only run until August 1st this year. This appears to be its third year.
I'd fall asleep 5,678 times watching a movie, but I wouldn't fall asleep watching this! Who made the church so beautiful? This trip was so worth it.
