Marrakech Ben Youssef Madrasa & Le Jardin Secret Half-Day Walking Tour

Our guide Sayed was a gem, very knowledgeable, witty and charming. He made sure to regularly check in on our group during the event and navigated the souks with experienced familiarity that made the crowded markets feel less overwhelming. At each location, he was very animated in sharing the history and cultural tidbits of the area which would be difficult to learn about without a guide. Personally, Le Jardin Secret was very underwhelming, especially given the 100MAD entrance fee. The Ben Youssef Madrassa however was very enriching, in terms of both the beautiful architecture and the rich history — very grateful to Sayed for taking the time to bring us to specific points in the Madrassa and sharing the context behind each design. Going through the souks and the Medina was an experience that may not be for all, it is crowded and packed with people, bikes and the occasional donkey cart, but definitely one that you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

Great walking tour and learned a lot about the area. Visited a bunch of historical places and Zine is an amazing tour guide. He gave a lot of detailed information in tour.
