Our visit to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures was one of the highlights of our trip to Tropical North Queensland! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-organized the park was and how passionate the staff were about the animals and conservation. The boat cruise on Hartley’s Lagoon was absolutely amazing — getting so close to huge saltwater crocodiles in their natural habitat was both thrilling and fascinating! The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining, sharing lots of interesting facts about crocodile behavior and how the park helps with conservation efforts. We also loved the various wildlife shows throughout the day — especially the croc feeding and snake presentation. Each one was engaging, informative, and fun for all ages. It was great to see how well the animals are cared for and how much the staff clearly love what they do.
Really great experience! We spent almost the whole day here, going between the different shows and walking around to see all the animals. Would definitely recommend this, such great value for money and a really fun day. Make sure you don't miss the croc feeding and croc attack shows!
The pick-up service was good, the guide was very good, always explaining along the way and clearly stating the meeting time. For the tour activities, we took a boat to feed the crocodiles and watched the snake and crocodile show. The lecturer at the crocodile farm provided knowledge on how to prepare for encountering both dangerous animals and also created awareness for tourists to understand the nature of animals more so that humans and animals can coexist as safely as possible. Overall, it was a very good tour. I recommend it.
Though crocs can be found everywhere in Australia including some attractions, Hartley is the place to visit to really learn more about these creatures. a must watch is the 3pm crocodile attack show.
It was huge and really fun! They tell you the times for each experience whether you go in the morning or at lunchtime, so you can enjoy it like a course tour. Plus, there were so many kangaroos and koalas, it was a blast.
The adventure was great. Don’t miss the snake and crocodile shows- fun and informative.
lots of crocodiles. we managed to feed kangaroo too.
Was very interesting to learn about the wildlife especially the crocodiles. its well sheltered away from the hot sun. Nice cafe for refreshments. The area is not too large so it's easy to see everything I would definitely recommend a visit.

Thrilling adventures await in Hartley's Crocodiles Adventures where you'll get up close and personal to the famous reptilian predator: the crocodile! There are approximately two thousand metres of boardwalks and pathways that visitors can walk through or follow to visit different zones throughout the park.

Hartley's Lagoon is where the main action happens, as it's the best place to tour the wetlands and spot crocs in their natural habitat. Visit the Cassowary Walk to meet the flightless emblems of the region, or go to the Wildlife Discovery trail where freshwater crocodiles, lizards, and a walk-through bird aviary gives you a glimpse into the type of biodiversity in the local environment.

The commercial Crocodile Farm also allows visitors to learn how crocodile farming works and how it helps conserve the lives of these amazing reptiles. Finally, the Gondwana Gateway, illustrates an evolutionary process that describes how the unique fauna in Australia was shaped by time.
