An absolute MUST-DO experience in Seoul! Our family took a cooking class yesterday with Park, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! Park was absolutely amazing. His English is fantastic, making communication completely effortless, and we had so many interesting conversations throughout the session. The dishes we prepared were not only extraordinarily delicious, but also visually stunning—true works of art! A huge bonus for families: we brought our 4-year-old daughter along, and Park was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. He included her in the process in such a wonderful, engaging way, making her feel so special and involved. Our whole family enjoyed every single moment. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Seoul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re visiting Seoul, this experience is an absolute must! ❤️ אל תפספסו!! הסדנא הכי טוב. שעשינו בחיים! ועשינו סדנאות בהמון מדינות!❤️🇰🇷
Park was an excellent cooking host. The traditional Hanok provided a great atmosphere for the class. Park was very knolegable but also patient with those that had little cooking background - adjusting the pace and helping when needed. The food / menu was delicious. I have done a few other cooking classes during my travels and this was one of my favorites. HIGHLY recommend.
We joined this cooking class as a family of three, and it turned out to be one of the most special highlights of our entire Seoul trip. The class was small and intimate (only 7 people), which made the whole experience feel very personal and welcoming. Ricky, our instructor and host, was incredibly attentive and passionate. He didn’t just teach us how to cook—he shared the stories behind each dish, the meaning of the ingredients, and the cultural spirit of Korean cuisine. What truly made this experience unforgettable was Ricky’s thoughtfulness. I had mentioned during booking that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and to our surprise, he secretly prepared a cake and organised a birthday celebration during the class. Everyone joined in to sing, and it became such a warm and touching moment for our family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something authentic, personal, and memorable in Seoul. Thank you, Ricky, for giving us such a beautiful moment to remember
We had such a wonderful experience at this cooking class! It took place in a beautifully renovated 100-year-old hanok, which made the entire experience feel authentic, warm, and truly special. My husband, my son, and I attended together, and we all had an amazing time. The recipes we learned were absolutely delicious and surprisingly approachable to recreate at home. Everything was well organized and thoughtfully explained. Ricky, our instructor, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He shared not only great cooking tips, but also fun Korean history and personal stories that made the class even more meaningful and engaging. It felt less like a class and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Korea. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
My son and I just attended this cooking class and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, well-organized, and perfect for learning. The instructor was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also patient, engaging, and great at breaking down each step in a way that felt easy to follow—even for beginner like my son, Lucas. We got plenty of hands-on practice, and I loved that the instructor shared the history of the dishes we made. By the end of the class, I felt confident recreating the dishes at home—and the food we made was genuinely delicious! Overall, this class was a perfect blend of learning, fun, and great food. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their cooking skills or simply enjoy an unique and enjoyable experience. Hope Chef Ricky creates new recipe when I return next year.🙏
This was the best cooking class ever! I loved everything—the setting, the atmosphere, the dishes we made, and especially the incredible hospitality from the chefs. My daughter and I had the chance to learn royal cuisine in a beautiful 100-year-old Hanok house. Everything was just perfect. Highly, highly recommended!
this is one cooking class where you leave and tell yourself that you are going to be able to whip up the same dishes when you are back home. love it!
Chef Park was an excellent host for the evening. We enjoyed meeting several fellow travelers and learning about Korean traditions, food and cooking. Chef Park walked us through cooking several delicious dishes and made it doable for everyone. Truly a highlight of our trip to South Korea.
My favorite experience in Seoul! Super informative, educational and fun. The chef was so attentive and gave us so much history and context to each dish. Beautiful interiors, super organized space, and the food was insanely delicious. I would definitely recommend this exact class for anyone visiting Seoul. Would 100% do it all over again!
We went two weeks ago, on our last day in Korea. It was such a lovely and super fun workshop! The chef was amazing, and the food and recipes we made were excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant - both during the meal itself and in the beautifully renovated Hanok house where it took place. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it!!
