White Temple, Black House & Blue Temple from Chiang Mai Guided Tour

Where do I even start?! This tour was just magical, especially the White Temple. Our tour guide Joe really made sure we avoid the crowd and have the best time in White Temple. The Blue Temple and Black House is also worth the visit!

It's a 12-hour trip. You can call the day before to ask what time to pick up at the hotel to avoid waiting. The tour guide explained carefully during the trip and deliberately avoided the crowds, but there were inevitably many people. The White Temple is quite spectacular, and the Black Temple occupies You need to hurry up to finish visiting the whole place. The Blue Temple is also very beautiful. The long-necked people did not go in and waited outside. Although the ride was very long, it was worth it!

Pick-up and drop-off also take some time. The hot spring is for people to use the toilet and costs 5 Thai Baht (it's more convenient to have small change). The Long Neck Tribe Village (optional) is actually the Six Tribes Village on Google Maps. Lunch was near the White Temple, a buffet-style, homemade-style Northern Thai cuisine, just okay. The White Temple is very beautiful, with a large area and many photo spots, but it's very crowded, and you have to queue just to get into the main temple. The Blue Temple is much smaller in comparison, and there is parking next to the temple, so it's a bit crowded. There is a fee to enter the museum next to it. You need to take off your shoes to enter the main temples at these two attractions, and it is recommended to use the restrooms at these two locations. The Black House is not actually a temple, it contains artwork and animal specimens, and it's quite large. There are also many cats there. The nuts at the rest stop on the way back were delicious. The driver drove fast enough to get back to Chiang Mai city earlier. We returned to Maya at 7 p.m. that day.

great driver and great tour guide. hoped the car was little bit better car… long hours seating not a great cusion.. except that, I had good time and experiences.

I recently went on a day trip from Chiang Mai that covered the White Temple, Blue Temple, Lalita Café, and the Long Neck Karen Village, and it was a truly enriching experience. What made the trip even more special was our guide, Job. He was incredibly sweet, approachable, and went out of his way to ensure everyone was comfortable and informed. His knowledge of each location and his friendly demeanor added so much value to the trip. Overall, the trip was well-organized and enjoyable, and Job’s guidance made it a truly memorable day. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the beauty and culture of Northern Thailand!

The minivan took us around to many tourist spots, and it was great value for money! The temples in Chiang Rai were also beautiful! When the tour guide arrived, he gave us a brief explanation and told us when we would meet again. It was casual and I was able to move around freely, which suited me.

A trip to Chang Rai is a must. It brings a different experience from Chang Mai. You will be amazed by the beauty of the White Temple and the Blue temple.

It was good, but if you don't speak English or Chinese, it might be a little difficult to understand what the guide is explaining... I can speak both English and Chinese, so it was fun.
