What to expect
Your tour begins at the Nativity Facade. As you look closer, you’ll see scenes from the birth of Christ surrounded by plants, animals, and symbols inspired by nature. See why this side is considered the most joyful and expressive.
Then, step inside and take a moment to look up. The towering columns branch out like trees, creating a feeling of standing in a peaceful forest. As sunlight filters through the colorful stained-glass windows, the interior glows with shifting hues of red, green, and blue that change throughout the day.
After exploring the interior, head outside to the Passion Facade, a huge contrast to the one you saw earlier. Its stark lines and dramatic sculptures tell the story of Christ’s final days. You’ll feel the expression of pain and redemption on this facade.

Reviews
Visiting the Sagrada Familia was easily one of the most unforgettable highlights of my trip to Barcelona. No matter how many photos or videos you’ve seen, nothing compares to standing beneath Gaudí’s masterpiece in person. The sheer scale, detail, and symbolism in every corner are breathtaking — from the intricate facades that tell biblical stories to the towering columns that feel like a forest of stone and light. I joined a guided tour, and it was absolutely worth it. The guide provided rich context about Gaudí’s vision and the ongoing construction process, which helped me appreciate the architecture on a much deeper level. Without the explanations, I would have missed so many subtle details — like how the light changes throughout the day or the meaning behind the shapes of the towers.
Went on Sunday and no walking ticket available. joined this tour last minute to guarantee entry. tour is informative
Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained the architectural concepts clearly, which helped us better understand Gaudí. It was a great experience.
Fabulous architectural piece, left us in amazement at the creative genius of Gaudi and how he tries to glorify God through his work. Tour conducted also in spanish so some info may have been truncated
Splendid architecture but crowded with tourists. Got a skip the line ticket and went on a Thursday morning, but still had to wait for half an hour or so.
I loved the tour and the English guide Xavier. He really tried to give us interesting stories and history and guided us throughout all the exteriors and interiors in 1.5 hours. But sadly, I could only understand 60% of the tour due to guide’s strong accent/pronunciation😭😭 (미국에서 어릴때 학교 다니고 졸업해서 영어에 문제 없다구 생각했는데 쫑말 이햬햐기 오룝더라쿠요.. 참고하세요!)
Guide was super. Very detailed in explanation, patient and enthusiastic that drawn us into Gaudi's design concept. The only complaint I have is that the meeting point has changed without informing me, stressing me walking around to look for the "Meeting Point 1" and trying tolookforthegroup while they were meeting at another location.
a must visit landmark in Barcelona. Need no introduction.
Very detailed explanation, you really don't have to wait in line, and staff just check your bags before entry!
The tour guide's explanation was very detailed. Although the cost was high, it was worth it. Visiting the Sagrada Familia is definitely worth it with a professional guide!
