Reviews
I really enjoyed the trip. Especially transportation and guide. I highly recommend to join the tour. If you join with your other friends it will be more interesting, I guess.
We went to petite france and italia village on our first trip - spend more time on italia village since its pretty large and really pretty. Petite france has a lot of k-drama locations where the shooting took place. Be sure to see the da-vinci museum too if you have time. they have a live marionette puppet performace too prefect for family with small kids. We went to a really pretty cafe included in the itenary then moved to Cheongpyeong Lake while passing by. Hwajeog-Yeon was the place where marry my husband was filmed really huge park with pretty clear waters. looks like a lot of school kids come on trips here. This is a perfect relaxing spot too. Clicked lot of pictures and relaxed before moving to our last spot the pocheon herb island - Please read about this area before going its super big lots of things to do, places to see. We decided to see the pink island first which comes with a hike. If you dont wanna hike to the top there's an bus line at the entrance that will take you to the top. We saw pink muhly tons since its in season. Perfect to go during the evening time since the night lights are also part of the magic in the island definitely worth it keep some spare time to visit the gardens and plenty of handmade stalls, cafes etc. overall perfect one day trip from seoul. Guide and driver most accomodating, genuine and helpful people ive had in these tours. They listened to us and did not waste and time between attractions.
The tour offered beautiful riverside views, a cozy lunch spot, and charming Italian and French village stops. Though some of the locations weren’t immediately recognizable to non-Korean drama fans, the experience was calm and scenic. The guide was friendly and very helpful, but a bit more detail on specific filming spots would have been great for those less familiar with the scenes. Overall, it’s a lovely way to spend a day enjoying picturesque views and a relaxed atmosphere, even if you’re new to K-drama locations.
The tour was good especially the pacing of the destinations. The time spent in each places weren't rushed & we still had time to relax after sightseeing. I also like the transfer/transportation, it was comfortable & the driver did well. The guide was soo nice&i like her, she just needs improvement on being familiar with the places we went to like where the entrance is or if where are the parts in Herb Island that would be best to focus on or go to since it was wide. But I really appreciate how she researched on which episodes of the drama Marry My Husband were filmed in each destination. I also appreciate how she is flexible in terms of time. Our guide was also bubbly and kind. As a kdrama fan & traveler,I like the concept of this tour and I love each of the places we went to. I do also hope that during lunchtime, there would be a stop for lunch with rice/korean dish meal cuz most tourists would most likely prefer it. I appreciate also that we arrived back in Seoul just on time and I didn't feel so exhausted that much. I really enjoyed the tour today. Thanks a lot Klook!
This tour is perfect for K-drama fans, especially those who enjoyed Marry My Husband or My Love from the Stars. I think they could add another location to the day tour, as we had plenty of time at each stop and even some extra time to explore. Since it’s a full-day trip, finding a good spot for lunch or dinner would also enhance the experience for tourists.
First of all, the person we usually call a guide or leader is someone who knows the area well and conveys information properly, and they have to visit the area at least once before they can guide people, but on this tour, it seemed like the guide just searched for something and when we actually visited, he didn't know where the ticket booth was or where this place was. For example, when we went to Herb Island last time, it was so big that we didn't know what was there or where to go, but he didn't know either. He just told us what time we had until, and we looked at the map and went around on our own. This kind of behavior can't really be called a guide, and although we were good at Korean and asked questions, found things, and took pictures, from the perspective of other foreigners, it was so brainless and we wouldn't choose this kind of tour again. I think if we went there at least once in advance to be more professional, other tourists would trust and follow us. Also, even though we were good at Korean on this tour, it was a bit uncomfortable that they spoke English until the end. And the fact that they didn't provide meals for the price was really bad.
In Petite France you can take many photos selfies. Herb island was top of the day gardens and flowers gets more easy to get beautiful photos in there. Guide ofcourse she was cool.
