Georgetown Penang Private Car Charter

Thank you to JIN for the warm hospitality. He proactively contacted me the day before and accommodated the cruise ship's early arrival (first photo) by arriving early and waiting outside the pier. The pier was very crowded with people and vehicles, but Jin had already sent photos of his outfit for the day, license plate, and parking spot via the app. We quickly met and confirmed each other's identities. Upon learning our main purpose and attractions for this trip, he also gave us itinerary adjustment suggestions to avoid traffic jams, and introduced local attractions, customs, and architecture along the way, giving us rich gains and knowledge. We bought souvenirs, enjoyed the scenery, ate local fruits and ice cream, and strolled through the alleys of Georgetown, successfully spending 4 full hours in Penang.

Our family had an amazing time exploring Georgetown, Penang with our private charter shore excursion! It was the perfect way to see the best of the city comfortably and at our own pace. We were lucky to have Mr. Toh as our tour guide—he was very kind, accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared fascinating stories about Penang’s history and culture, making our tour even more enjoyable and informative. He also made sure we were comfortable at all times and gave us great recommendations on places to visit and local food to try. We highly recommend Mr. Toh for anyone visiting Penang!

We are aboard Spectrum of the Seas and decided to book Penang car charter in Klook, much cheaper, more flexible and we got to choose our destinations. We were assigned Uncle Teh as our driver for the private tour. Uncle Teh was very punctual and friendly driver. He shared alot of stories and history with us as we move along the way. We did our itinerary very last minute and we asked Uncle Teh to suggest to us if he has any other places which we may have missed. We also had him recommend and bring us for all our meals and he never fail to deliver. He is also flexible whenever we ask to change the route slightly based on the timing and conditions. Overall we are very happy with having Uncle Teh as our driver and we hope to be back again next time.

The driver Uncle Teh introduced many places, including Zuo Penang Hill, Kek Lok Temple, Mural Street, and Surname Bridge. He also helped organize the itinerary to taste different delicacies.

This 8-hour chartered car took Mr. Wang's car PLV8252. We arrived at the pre-notified location at 8:20. Grandma can't understand English. Mr. Wang introduced the historical and cultural monuments along the way, which gave us a deep understanding of Penang, and he followed the itinerary I informed in advance. I made an appointment for Overseas Chinese Museum, Food Museum, Guanyin Temple, Little India, Zhouqiao, Hindu Temple, Mosque, Mural Area, Everbright, Fujian Shrimp Noodles, Oyster Fried, Braised Pork, Cendol for snacks... The upside-down museum of the itinerary He Nyonya restaurant was closed for Chinese New Year, and Mr. Wang still drove to the door to make sure we couldn't visit. I am very grateful to Mr. Wang for helping grandma open the door and taking care of everything along the way. He also gave us umbrellas for us to use immediately when it rained. They will also drive us there because we want to eat durian. When it was still raining when I got back to the pier, I took a light raincoat to keep me from getting wet on the cruise ship. It was really considerate. Mr. Wang shouldn't only have 5 stars, if you can give him 6 stars 7🌟🌟🌟 it's fine! I sincerely recommend it to friends who want to charter a car in Penang. Great service especially if there are elderlies in the group! Visited Kek Lok Si Temple and Penang Hill. The ride was comfortable and the driver, Chan, was very friendly even sharing tips on good food around georgetown!

Ong was so friendly and accomodating! We brought us everywhere we wanted to go, and recommended more places to see. He taught us lots about the area as we drove and took a few photos for us. Highly recommend using this service if you only have a short time or one day to see as much as you can. Snake temple was a highlight for us! Thanks again to Mr. Ong
