Full Day or Half Day in Middle Earth Tour

For all LOTR nerds out there, this is the tour you should not miss. We went to a lot of locations. Our tour guide Ian was an excellent driver and amazing storyteller. I know more a lot about LOTR now. Plus the amazing movie props you can play with and take photos with. Its worth the money I paid for. Glad I did it with them.

The tours were divided into morning and afternoon tours, and different tour companies were used. Both tours took us to the filming locations of The Lord of the Rings, and we were able to see the beautiful scenery of New Zealand. To be honest, I didn't remember much about the movie because it was about 20 years ago, but they showed me photos of the movie scenes and explained them to me, so it was fun to remember them.

We booked full.day tour and the morning and afternoon tours are operated by different companies..Morning tour was by Pure Glenorchy and our tour guide Tristen was a true LOTR fans. It was so fun to listen to all the inside stories of LOTR. afternoon tour was by Trails of middle Earth. our guide Benje (Gollum, as he calls himself) was very knowledgeable and LOTR expert as well. this tour is a treat for LOTR fans, like my husband 😄

I liked it very much. Ben was a very intusiastic Guide with a lot of knowlege about the Lord of the rings places.

Fans of Middle-earth really shouldn't miss this tour! You can see so many Lord of the Rings filming locations in Queenstown in one day, which is incredibly exciting. The guides are also excellent; they share lots of interesting behind-the-scenes stories, provide drinks, help with photos, and even offer authentic prop weapons for a truly special experience. It was my happiest day in New Zealand.

the full day tour consist of 2 separate tour groups but with different itinerary and programme. it was good to be able to visit Arrowtown as well as Glenorchy which would not have been possible if I took only one of the tours. both Shane and Dan are excellent guides too with fun knowledge of LOTR. there’s even a dress-up play at the end of each tour which was good fun!

A paradise for Lord of the Rings lovers. It introduces all the stories, locations, characters, and interesting things about the Lord of the Rings. The tour guide is very good and friendly.
