Things to do at Tung Chung

We took MTR to Tung Chung station and follow the directions to cable car (Ngong Ping 360). We recommend taking the cable car in order to enjoy the beautiful view from the top for 25 minutes. Not to mention that we just need to scan QR code to ride cable car.

I bought this ticket at the gate , and received it immediately and able to skip the ticket queues. please take note that in the event of bad weather, cable car will stop. for our return trip, they stopped the service, and sent all of us in the queue on board a shuttle bus for a 45 mins bus ride to go back to Tung Chung. so even if you paid for a cable car ride, you have no choice at the end but to use a bus... other than this, it was a great experience.

We queued up at the scene around 09:10 on 4/13, and boarded the second panoramic carriage at 10:07. It is recommended that everyone queue up early. At 11:40, there was already a long queue at Tung Chung Station, and you may have to wait for up to two hours.

The crystal carriage is special to the ordinary carriages, but if you are afraid of heights, don’t choose the crystal carriage! ! If you want to take the return trip from Ngong Ping to Tung Chung before 10am, you can charter a bus.

When the weather is nice, it is definitely a comfortable experience to take the whole family for a walk to Tung Chung and then go to Ngong Ping Market to take photos and eat the snack of standing bean curd.
