Friendly staff, a nice pool area, and on-site parking available. Unfortunately, my bed sheets had stains, the shower in my room had no hot water and was only lukewarm, and the hotel is very noisy with thin walls.

The room was tiny and the bathroom was barely bigger than a wardrobe, also there was no sink in the bathroom and all teeth cleaning, shaving etc.. had to be done in the small sink in the kitchen.

I love staying here when in Townsville. This time I stayed in a larger room which had a bath. Loved my soak. Also brought my dog this time which is fantastic. The grounds are well looked after. Cafe is good for breakfast. Staff are always friendly and helpful. My only suggestions would be a handrail for the spa and pool. I’ve had a knee operation and can’t hop in the spa and pool as I can’t get myself out of it without a rail. I would love to get in it. I’m sure there are other travellers like me. Also some cookies with the tea & coffee sachets would be great. See you next time
