Good
Good hotel and centrally located. No air con and the fan was ineffective.

Fantastic
Nice hotel, it’s located one block from the river Eisbach, This is the famous artificial channel where surfers ride the standing wave. The only downside is that there was not AC but there was a fan in the room. I’d stay there again.

Good
3 star hotel trying to pass as a 4… the pictures are also deceiving. No Air-conditioning in almost all of the rooms - say to open the window/use a fan not ideal on the first floor with street noise and in the middle of summer. Might also feel safer on the higher floors but not on the lower ones - room was always hotter than the rest of the hotel even when leaving the fan on and cracking the window. Shower was tiny, making up of the rooms was also less ideal even when opting for it only every second day - Half the rubbish was not cleared. Booking of the rooms says queen bed… was 2 single beds pushed together with single bedding for each side… not even held together by one sheet and one set of bedding. Would not stay there again especially considering it was still relatively expensive despite all of the downsides - better off staying somewhere else.

This hotel is in the beautiful and peaceful area of Lehel, close to the centre of Munich without being too busy, and very near the stunning English Garden. It’s clean and solid, but is very basic. Be warned there is no air conditioning so our room was like a sauna for the entire stay, there’s no kettle or coffee-making facilities in the room, and despite our room being ‘cleaned’ every day (which has to be specifically requested), three days’ worth of dirty glasses and mugs were just left to pile up, rather than taken away.

Very well designed hotel vibrantly modern but all thoughtfully functional. Pleasant part of the city with good restaurants and handy for the wonderful museums Munich has to offer.

It was our 2nd time staying at Unsolds and it is one of my favourite hotels and adore the location. Can’t recommend enough staying in Lehel if you don’t want to be amidst the insanely packed crowds but can easily walk or train to Marienplatz and be there in minutes. The staff at Unsolds are fantastic and so helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and have a gorgeous industrial design. There’s no air conditioning but they provide a fan in the rooms and it does help. It wasn’t overly warm on our last visit, so it was bearable. Heaps of restaurants in the area that are mainly used by the residents, so it has this cool locals vibe. You can do all the touristy things during the day and then live like a local at night in peace and quiet. Highly recommend Unsolds.
