Nice stay. Quiet and clean room on a high floor. Per our request, the staff gave me a room on the same floor as my sister's, so that was convenient. Easy to find things to eat and easy to get around.

Modern decoration, friendly staff, great location (near Prince Edward MTR Station (Exit B2) and shops), and comfortable room with reasonable price. We got an upgrade to a higher floor with a nice view, so that is great for our kids. If you want to pick a hotel in this area, this one should be in your list.

rooms are a decent but good for the cost, next to a market, lots food close by, near a subway station, and if you need to do laundry there is a place about 10min walk

Perfectly clean and friendly staff. Stayed 3 nights at the Hotel 1936. The room was pristine and all regular amenities needed. Iron + board was available at request. My room was facing the road/entrance side and the car noise can be slightly heard from the 10 floor. Had no trouble sleeping whatsoever and always felt very quite, especially with the mountain view. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a decent hotel in HK without any extras like gym or pool.
