Extremely helpful, welcoming staff. Excellent pet-friendly service with treats and private courtyards. Delicious breakfast with barista coffee and secure parking.

Sadly things closed at 3pm, but the after hours staff helped us on arrival. This is a lovely place and we will definitely stay again

Staff extremely friendly & welcoming. Breakfast terrific value, convenient, sufficient choices & has gluten free options. Barista greatā€¦.. good coffee a must in the morningšŸ˜€ Location brilliant & close proximity to public transport, shops , restaurants. Premise old however fairly maintained so as not to look tired. We & friends who stayed there will certainly be returning.

Great

Solo stay

My 2nd stay at this unique old mansion that's been converted into a comfortable hotel. This time my room was very compact BUT it had all I needed for a short stay. Excellent location, and breakfast included. Very comfortable bed and good bathroom, all scrupulously clean. I wish there was a lift but staff always willing to help with luggage. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at The Hughenden Hotel was absolutely exceptional. This was our very first mother-daughter trip to Sydney, and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and cared for. We arrived much earlier than check in time after an early flight, and the team went above and beyond to have our room ready so we could check in early at no extra cost. It made such a difference to the start of our trip. They also kindly stored my daughter's medication in their fridge while we waited, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful. It has so much character and history, while still feeling stylish, cozy, and welcoming. Everything was spotless, and you could tell the staff take great pride in maintaining the property. We especially loved the gorgeous staircase and all of the beautiful artwork throughout the hotel, it really added to the boutique charm. Our room was so comfortable, cute, and beautifully presented. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and I have to mention the hot chocolates, they were honestly some of the best we've ever had! Every member of staff was kind, caring, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made our first visit to Sydney even more special. I cannot recommend The Hughenden Hotel highly enough. We had such a wonderful experience and will absolutely stay here again when we return to Sydney.
