We stayed 4D3N at Canad Inns Fort Garry. Overall, it was a decent stay and what we expected from a hotel. There is a Save-On-Foods nearby as well as other restaurants. The hotel has two floors, with separate north and south sides and different elevator entrances. The front desk directed us to the elevator after the ATM, but we couldn’t find our room. Thankfully, we asked directions from a hotel maintenance who directed us downstairs to the elevator after Aaltos Restaurant. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. It had a microwave and coffee maker with sugar, cream and stirrers, but no cutlery. There was also an ice machine right outside our room. Our main disappointment was housekeeping. Our room wasn’t serviced until after 5 PM. When we returned to rest, we had to wait in the lobby while they finished cleaning, which was inconvenient after a long day. Overall, a comfortable stay, but earlier housekeeping service would have made the experience much better.
